Today's Theory: The Enclave have infiltrated the Brotherhood on the East Coast.
A theory that used to skirt around the edges of the fanbase but has seemingly dropped from existence is the speculation that, after the events of Broken Steel, some Enclave infiltrated the ECBoS. Details of the theory generally differ in why they've done so, either ones trying to erase their past or for more nefarious reasons. This was mainly developed because until very recently it was unknown what exactly happened to Enclave survivors in the Capital, so some fans held out hope for a less... afterlife-occupied fate for them.
Evidence For:
•With their military and scientific knowledge, a member of the Enclave could easily gain entry into the ECBoS.
•Wasteland Warfare has confirmed that the Enclave in the Capital post-Broken Steel use stealth tactics, including covert operatives.
•We know that many Enclave survivors deserted after command's fall and tried to turn their lives around, some even joining other factions.
Evidence Against:
•While it has been established that the Enclave now uses stealth tactics to ensure their survival, it is noted that they continue to fight the BoS in the Capital openly when they have the chance.
•Too much knowledge of science and combat could bring heavy suspicion upon any new member of the ECBoS, especially in a location with known Enclave forces.
Do you believe that some Enclave could have joined the Brotherhood, either to truly help the Wasteland or to spy on their enemies?
