Parent company correction

[edit]

Is this okay? | parent = Koch Media Holding GmbH (2000–2018)

Embracer Group (2018-present) FireDragonValo (talk) 00:31, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Holding remains the parent company remains; this never changed. The |owner= field is unsuitable as it has a different purpose (see docs). The lead and body still state the acquisition. IceWelder [] 09:28, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Koch MediaPlaion – to account for the renaming of the company Venky64 (talk) 15:09, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • The criterion is generally understood to be whether reliable sources have begun to use the new name in reporting not about the name change itself, not whether the company's decision to change its name has been reported. To the comment below, moves should not be made during open move requests. This is not a question of red tape, but of establishing a consensus that promotes stability and of following secondary sources. This was the second reversion to the stable title. It's not actually. Ryan York self-reverted, then redid it. -- ferret (talk) 15:29, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Pointless move revert for red tape. Speedy move back. -- ferret (talk) 16:56, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just Move it already and that's it. There's no need for a discussion. If a company has officially renamed to a different name, it's best to do it right away. 20chances (talk) 18:55, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hardware

[edit]

Should it be noted that Plaion manufactures the hardware for the THE400 Mini (Atari 400 Mini) and the Atari 2600+ as well as the CAPCOM Home Arcade, the THEC64 Mini (Commodore 64 Mini), THEC64 Maxi and THEA500 Mini (Commodore Amiga Mini) under the Koch Media brandname? Marc NL (talk) 10:44, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I reckon Plaion only distributes these products, but yes, this can be mention if reliable sources covered it. IceWelder [] 11:22, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
