Question/Answer format vs. Formal Headings[]
Recently, Elocina has been changing the headings on help pages away from the question and answer format. Personally, I preferred the question answer format because it seemed easier to understand when there was something you needed help with. Thoughts? The 888th Avatar (Talk) 13:40, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Wikia on History List[]
This isn't a question regarding Wikia per se, but one related to it; I was wondering if anyone familiar with how the site's pages are set up to an advanced web language level could answer this. Why does it seem that Wikia pages seem to have such a hard time sticking to a web browser's History list? --DanMat6288 20:13, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Formatting[]
Hello, I am Robobrain. Recently I was working on formatting on some pages of the Submachine wiki through the use of columns, but the default dimensions were not the formatting I was going for. Ads issue[]
Could someone please dump those HORRENDOUSLY irritating boxing ads? I've been turning my attention to anwywhere-but-here more lately because of it and I prefer wowwiki. They must be stopped! Knock those SOBs out!!!!!!!! My husband feels even more strongly. It has become a place where I may still come but I leave ASAP because it's so annoying to be in game with all that NOISE coming from wowwiki in the background. Enough!!!!!
- Hi, you should take this issue to wowwiki administrators here is a wiki that gets the content translcuded in other wikis like wowwiki so that they dont need to have to create help pages and can depend on a pool that will benefit 9000+ wikis.
- On another note, if you create an account here at wikia, you can enjoy the advantages of surfing any wikia wiki ad-less and you dont even have to supply an email (the advantage of putting your emails is if you lose the password it can be email you

- With the logo, as long as it's at the correct location (File:Wiki.png), then you don't need to go anything else. For the anythingasian wiki, that means uploading the logo to http://anythingasian.wikia.com/wiki/File:Wiki.png Kirkburn (talk) 14:57, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

User List[]
When a new user joing they dont show up on the Local User List on my Wikia. Does that mean there is something wrong? Or what? ~ Mali-chan AnythingAsian
- The default settings for the user list is to show only users that have edited 5 or more time. You can change this via a dropdown option on the listusers page. Kirkburn (talk) 13:56, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

I need your help to change the map (Territories and voyages of the Vikings) who turns out to be false on the Viking sites and L'Anse aux Meadows in Dutch, and Norwegian (bokmål). For the correction and / or administrator of the site Laaknor too blunt and obvious lack of knowledge on historical and geographical Normandy (my country), blocking my messages. If you could be kind enough to intervene with Laaknor by Norsk (bokmål) and ask him to compare his bad card, with those found in french, English, German or Israeli, who have had the intelligence to m listen and change their erroneous map for a more accurate, I would be grateful. If only for the seriousness, which claims to Wikipedia. Thank you in advance!
What links here?[]
I'm starting to get a little bit concerned that useful wikia tools like "What links here?" are being replaced by uninformative features like blogs. I mean, if blogs help, fine, but do we have to make it harder to edit the actual wikis?Glorious CHAOS! 08:37, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

My Wiki was Deleted[]
I really worked extremely hard on my Entertainment Wiki Page, and it was closed. How do I get all my stuff I had on it back so I can save it to a different page? They did have a thing on there, where I tried to go to the main "Wikia Entertainment" page and it said closed, but where you can click "here" to receive your content. I tried doing that, and I have no idea of what any of those things on there were. I really need someone to help figure out how to get that page back I created. Thank you,

Changing wiki logo?[]
Is there any way for me to change logo on [TR Wiki]? I have read all help and all talk about it, even what was mentioned on this page. For some reason the logo image seems to be Wiki_wide.png, not Wiki.png. I changed the first first, the other later, both show up correctly in files section but I still don't see any effect on the page. I was trying to trace all changes the wiki creator (which now seems to be quite inactive) made, even tried to check if he didn't change some css (doesn't look like he did) but did not find any clue what should I do to change it. I am admin on that wiki but am not member of any group, maybe that is the problem? --Kasuha TR 20:04, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- The filename ís Wiki.png, only this one sometimes takes up to an day to upload. So just upload it to Wiki.png and wait. Wiki wide is a different logo and not yet used. Tedjuh10 - Talk 23:13, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Wiki_wide is no longer used usually, but this wiki has set that file as the logo in Common.css which can be changed by an admin if needed (see the very end of that page). It used to be for the Quartz skin which is no longer in use. You can find more help on this at help:logo. Angela (talk) 14:30, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
