Long story
Long story, here’s the end, I am extremely grateful to the technician, Garrick at The Tech Center in Danvers!
Yesterday, I broke the charger off in my laptop, Sunday afternoon! I called the Tech Center and spoke with Garrick. He said I could bring the laptop in and he’d see if he could get the broken piece out of the port, he also explained that the port could be unusable afterwards, and he gave me a quote for possible charges. When I got there Garrick had two projects on his docket which had to be completed first, completely understandable, and said to leave the laptop and come back in an hour. When I got back, the laptop was fixed and charging, Garrick went above and beyond on a busy day when he was the only tech on duty, and I’m grateful that he did.
