I understood the reason for not finding ... bad but strange behavior in the combination of these two mods. but I hope that will still be found the reason ... it is a must have.
So after some experience with this for about a week and a half, I do have to agree that the rare mobs really do need to be constrained to hostile mobs only. The worst "passive" I had was an ender wolf, which tended to revert to being passive once it got a hit in on me.
I might also suggest an infinite exploding capability for rare creepers... it doesn't have to make any more sense than their other awesome powers, but it's sort of anti-climactic for a creeper to explode itself (just outside of range where it can really hurt me) instead of actually putting up a fight.
Otherwise, well done!

You know, it occurs to me that the French are, in general, a highly melancholy people. On every street they rue something.
I have to apologize by the way, Infernal Mobs totally DOES mess with dataWatchers (and i forgot about that). In order to get a networked Health Bar, i took the datawatcher value that is "health" on wolves - 18 - and use it for health on all Entities. Turns out Mojang started using 18 on other Entities for their own ends.
I'll be moving that to id 30, which should hopefully avoid this for a while.
EDIT
Scratch that, im dumping it ... ill just write a custom packet system to sync health bars
Sorry for the usual newfag questions. But has anyone else testing this against 1.3.2? My server will crash with it (on latest version of forge 4.1.265), and on single player it will crash on attempting to spawn any infernal mobs.
Hey we use this mod and set rarity to 1 to make minecraft challenging again and it works friggin awesome. The neutral mobs all become elite too though lol and it makes for some interesting times trying to gather food etc that way. Have you considered a config option for not displaying the mobs special abilities? Sort of a shocker everytime you engage one ya know? =)
Anyhow, thanks for the mod, really creative and amazing work as usual
XP is the same like the normal mobs (no differents more betweens the rares and normal once)
Currently no drops like the 125 version? (Enchanted Gear)
And the Healthbar doesnt work, such as Kane said.

I had an idea for almost exactly this mod. I thought, man, those procedurally generated forgotten beasts from Dwarf Fortress were sick - but doing completely procedural critters in 3D would be too hard so it would make more sense to slap random NBT tags, titles and textures on existing mobs to create a couple of unpredictably deadly super-mobs for almost as much !!!FUN!!! and variety. Of course, I envisioned that it would do this to any mob, even ones from other mods, resulting in massive WTF and everything trying to kill you.
I am both disappointed and overjoyed to see that the legendary AtomicStryker has already had the same series of ideas and turned them into a pretty spiffy product. Is there anything known to mess with infernal mob drops and health bars? If it's an issue with mods, I'll start research into it immediately, as I'm an eccentric modder and already have quite a few mods in 1.4.2, but if it's an issue with something else I'd like to know how to fix it without going through all my mods one by one. If it matters, yes, they do have their powers.
AtomicStryker- The Infernal Mobs don't seem to be dropping enchanted items- what is the drop rate for that? Also, do you think you could add to the config file a modifier for that? Thanks!

Future request be a config file add a loot to them so the rare mobs for example when you come cross one maybe drops something extra if the users wants
Edit also causes this crash in SMP on load: http://pastebin.com/1bzv11hE
