Helloo, I am at school right now :sad.gif: Anyways, I don't have time to read through all of the comments at this moment and being spotlighted gave me a burst of inspiration, can't wait to get home hahaha!
EDIT: Also, if anyone could teach me how to swing the hand render/model, I would really really really really love you. :laugh.gif:
Awesome mod. Just getting started and about halfway to having enough mobs killed to build a town. I look forward to updates and can't wait to build up my town.
This is my new favorite mod! I'll be eagerly awaiting any releases you put out. Just thought I'd tell you that! Also, if you guys want to kill things but don't feel like moving around too much. Just make an insecure home (simple, possibly badly lit) and sleep in it. You'll get a mob trying to kill you every time you attempt to go to bed and you'll get some easy gold :smile.gif:
Thank you for the tip. Now I will have to find a way to cancel that hehehehehehe :cool.gif:
Yes I am evil. Currently, I am buffing my enemies to max(teleportation, fire, explosion, taint the area with netherrack, more fire, go die burning muahahaha)
soo the mods amazing but i cant use the shop keeper. when the screen comes up it gets uber slow and i cant click on sell or buy or even exit! how can i fix this?
I have the same problem but it becomes bearable if you play in window rather then full screen. a bit jarring at first but you get used to it, and this mod is worth it.
so uhmm...I'm kind of confused. it was failing at first so I renamed my mods folder to mod folder and minecraft was working again. It saves the world as a .dat file in .minecraft, but when I create a new world, it doesn't prompt me to start kingdom?
Wow this is one the best mods I've seen. This mod gives me a reason to fight mobs rather than making a mob grinder. It makes it so much easier to advance in tiers unlike before when you had to mine for hours to find stuff and I love how you can rule your own city and you don't have to spend hours building it. I've currently gather enough wood/cobble to get a tier 2 town right away but I'm only half way to getting a town. I love the mod thank you so much for making it!
Are you planning to make other friendly kingdoms? I think it would be pretty cool if you could like hire mercs or trade with other people. And possibly, if they get attacked by the netherinians or what ever they are called XD you have to support them. Or you can conquer them and they will give you more tax money XD. Also you could implement hunger on the npcs so that they have to grow food and then if you capture another city then you can plunder them for their food or get more food from them. One more thing, (sorry if i'm too demanding XD) i think there should be factions. I know you havn't released the netherinian guys yet but after you defeat them what would you do?. I think it'd be pretty cool if you made more enemies. possibly a randomly generated cave city full of zombie dwarfs (yogscast *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*) or possibly an hellish aether people? (last one is sort of a... erm... long shot but its a suggestion XD). Anyway, i think these could really help the RP feel of TALE of KINGDOMS. keep it up!!!!!!
Seems like a pretty awesome mod, but I was just wondering if you are planning on adding multiplayer support. That would make it truly epic. People could team up and rule a kingdom together, or they could create their own separate kingdoms and either ally or fight against each other. Like what other people have suggested, adding hunger for NPCs would be awesome, so you can destroy the enemy's food supply and starve them to death.
The only problem that I currently have with the mod is that stuff is built too fast, and in a very un-minecrafty way. I know it might be hard to develop a system like this, but if you managed to do it, it would really make it better. What I am suggesting is that when you choose to have a kingdom built, or choose to add new buildings or whatever, it doesn't just appear there instantly. There will be builders who come and actually build the place in a Minecraft way, and you can help them too if you know where to place which blocks. It would take time, and you could see it being built. All the NPCs would also need houses for themselves, and they would build these for themselves in the same way, without you telling them to. This would really make the game fit much more in Minecraft.
If both of these ideas were added, I would be very pleased.
Let us pray. Bless us, O Notch, and these, thy Updates, which we are about to receive for thy Game. Through Jeb, our Dev. Amen.

I bought Minecraft Alpha on 7/13/10

Once modloader is installed, start the game once and the mod folder will be created in the minecraft. folder, place ToK in the newly made mod folder.
Don't hope! The right word is "Expect" :wink.gif:
a
Re-login, go back to the guild. He should be there.
Have you started your kingdom? if you did then he should be in the town when you relogin.
GOOD! i am very happy!
Try re-login in your kingdom?

Thanks!
Maermaethor.
This mod is the best I have ever seen, and even when it's so big, it doesn't change the consept of Minecraft to much.
