However, Ive been having a really hard time reading the signs in the back of the townhall lately, mostly due to the sales woman bouncing around against the back wall pushing me away. Its not exactly a bug, just an odd behavior. Any way to get her to maybe stand in the center of the building or something?
When I launch MC after downloading and installing this, it just shows up pitch black.
It doesn't even get to the first logo.
Any ideas why? ..
Fixed! Read my post below.
I have the same problem too.. I did the exactly same things I did when I downloaded this to both 1.3 (some time ago), and 1.4 (just some days ago). I started with a fresh .minecraft folder, installed ModLoader (deleted META-inf), installed the mod as it says in the description, and now I have a black screen after log in which doesn't even reach the Mojang logo =/
Ps. The game doesn't crash or anything, it's just staying there in blackscreen.
Ive just added Millenaire to my "how to install" videos thread if your having trouble
installing it. Just click my banner below and let me know how it helps...
Cheers,

Don't put "millenaire_config.txt" from the folder named "Put in minecraft folder" inside the .minecraft folder!
I don't know why this causes a blackscreen, but this was what made the mod work for me after reinstalling three times with no luck =)
So to Kinniken: please move the txt file out of the folder, and put it where the "readme" is instead, as this probably will help in not confusing people like me who aren't as familiar with mods and modding as many others =)
Ps. This is not a guaranteed fix, but I hope this is what's causing blackscreens and my solution is the fix for all the recent blackscreens.
Pss. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and I will edit this post =)

Uh, that's where it's supposed to go as far as I know, and where I have it with Millenaire working. I'm on Mac, and I'm assuming .minecraft is where saves, texturepacks, screenshots, etc are.

When a villager lays a dirt foundation for a house, the dirt placed may occupy the same space as the villager every time it lays a block, causing damage due to suffocation. The villager dies but when respawned will continue its work.

It's supposed to go in .minecraft
Otherwise the mod doesn't know what the min distance of the towns.
Most of the black-screens that have to do with that is probably not playing minecraft as admin.
