Kenichiro Ryuuzaki (竜崎 憲一朗 , Ryūzaki Ken'ichirō?), or more commonly known by his nickname Kencho (ケンチョ , Kencho?), is a main character in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. He is a former real estate salesman and an old friend of Akira Tendou.
Appearance[]
Kencho is a tall, handsome and muscular tan-skinned young man with dark green hair that he later dyed blonde along with his eyebrows (in Episode 5) with the sides shaven and left undyed where two long dangling strands are left framing his face, energetic-looking olive-brown eyes framed with thick eyebrows while he has sharp lower eyelashes that gives him a lively and good-natured appearance and he has a athletic and well-built physique. His hairstyle changes in the manga:
- In Chapter 38, Akira Tendou shaves off Kencho's entire hair and he was left with a buzzcut.
- In Chapter 41, his hair slowly grows back where it is now styled in a short spiky hairstyle and he retained his dyed blond hair color.
His outfit consists of a blue unbuttoned dress shirt that reveals his chiseled body, hot pink pants and brown dress shoes.
Personality[]
During one of Akira Tendou's flashbacks, it is shown that Kencho is a lively and energetic young man who is good at communicating and making conversations with others that he envied due to his seemingly successful life, having been working as a real estate agent after college.
During said flashback, when they're drinking together, Kencho brags about how he gets to have dinner with politicians and having a model as a girlfriend, seemingly appearing arrogant and boastful. In reality, Kencho hates his job, due to how he has to lie in his clients' faces with a smile while securing them with bad contracts, which along with the higher-ups' praises of his good performance, endlessly fills him with guilt, where he claimed that all the bragging and the boasting he did was all lies, an attempt to keep himself from feeling less empty.
After admitting this and having a genuine conversation with Akira, Kencho shows to have regained his natural energetic spirit, accompanying Akira in his journey of living life to the fullest. As a comedic representation of starting to chase his dream, he strips and attempts to leap towards the other building where Akira is in, showing a disregard for modesty, and after being saved from falling by his friend, he shrieks about how he scraped his balls.
He is quite the womanizer as he has been seen having sexual intercourse with multiple women.

- High Electrical Resistance - When the electric fence at Akira's hometown was at high voltage and touched it out of curiosity, he was able to survive long enough for Shizuaka to use a wooden stick to wack him off of it.
Story[]
Kencho first appeared when he was called by Akira Tendou asking to hang out. After he hung up, he put his face in his hands as he was in a love hotel and the girl he was with was Zombified, but he rented a BDSM suite so it was restrained and unable to reach him. Akira then saved Kencho and they made it to the roof where Akira jumped to the next building and told Ken to follow. Ken told Akira the truth that he hated being a real estate agent and he always put on a fake smile. After that, he stripped and jumped the gap he made it but he caught his nuts on the edge of the building. He then drank nude with Akira and talked about the future.
He then helped Akira with his Bucket List and had fun where Kenichirou especially enjoyed the Mixer as he had sex with Maki a lot, Ken then had to fight a Zombified Reika and then Run from a now Zombified Maki.
Next trip was to the Aquarium and they were attacked by a Zombie Shark Ken saved Akira and Shizuka Mikazuki by Shaking his naked Behind at the Shark from an Air vent to distract it so that Akira could kill it.
He then decided to leave Tokyo with Akira as it was no longer safe, they went to a Mobile home store and he loved the choices but then he Akira and Shizuka had to flee in the closest one as a horde broke in, On the road Kenichirou was riding the Harley Davidson Bike whilst Akira was driving the Condo with Shizuka in the passenger seat. Their trip was cut Short by a Trap set by Gonzou Kosugi (Akira's former boss) that Kencho crashed the bike and severely injured himself breaking his ribs and more, Gonzou treated Kencho but turned Akira back into a Slave and this hurt Kencho more that his injuries and he knew that it was his fault because if he wasn't injured then Akira wouldn't have to work for the scumbag. After he had recovered, Gonzou refused to let Akira go and Akira had been brainwashed by Gonzou. Akira said that he was staying and Kencho begged him to open his eyes, but then Shizuka freed Akira after escaping the Zombies and they hit the road while everyone left Gonzou alone.
Whilst doing Yoga on a lake, they contemplated their next goal and they found a truck surrounded by Zombies on the road. Akira suited up and stepped in but the Zombies were instantly sliced apart by a Samurai who revealed themselves to be a German Foreigner named Beatrix Amerhauser and Kencho becomes immediately attracted to her due to her curvaceous body and cute face while Beatrix begged them to help her deliver the Fish she was carrying to the last Sushi Chef. Akira agreed while Ken and Shizuka in sync said he only cares about the Sushi, when they arrived the street was full of Zombies so Kenichirou acted as bait as usual, Shizuka formed a plans similar to that of great Japanese Generals and trapped the Zombies and doused them in petrol, Ken then set them ablaze, Beatrix and Akira emerged unscathed due to their suits and armor. Kencho then enjoyed the Sushi as he and Shizuka demanded that they share the spoils.
They then set to the hot springs as their next destination. The squad found a resort and Akira jumped in, Shizuka was repulsed as she would have to Bathe with the guys as the Girls Bath was closed due to the pump being damaged, Beatrix then stated the truth behind Hot Springs and she disrobed and was ready to join the guys much to kens delight as he was in love with Beatrix, However a horde of Zombies emerged from the water so they fled. They then climbed a cliff to escape, whilst catching their Breath Ken and Beatrix noticed that Akira and Shizuka were missing, they were worried and went to seach for them, they were then shocked by the fact that they were bathing in a Mountain Spring, Ken stated that he doesn't want to get in the way of his BFF love life but he also wants to enjoy a Hot Spring so he annd Beatrix dived in joining their Lovebirds.

Kencho and Akira were friends from college when they both joined the same rugby club together.
He is well-aware that Akira is harboring feelings for Shizuka Mikazuki and swears not to make a move on her. When he catches Akira and Shizuka in the hot springs together, Kencho wonders when Akira and Shizuka had gotten so close as to bathe together.

Kencho met Shizuka for the first time when she came across Akira Tendou once again. Kencho helped Akira save her life from the zombified shark with legs, courtesy of the diver that was eaten inside its stomach. Since then, she has formed a group with him along with Akira where they became close acquaintances and they seem to get along as they both hang together when reacting to Akira's delusions and they look exasperated.

Kencho has been shown to immediately attracted to Beatrix due to her good looks. Another reason is more likely her comfortableness/or willingness to take off her clothes at the springs. That aside, he does treat her like a good friend, but his clearly lustful behavior repels her from him at times.

Kencho met Sakura on a cruise ship in Chapter 41 where they hit it off and spent hours of sexual passion together that Sakura called Kencho "a god among men!" at the end of Chapter 42.
He later parted ways with her when the ship was attacked by Zombies. However, it is unknown if she survived or got bitten by the zombies.

Kencho cares for Izzy like a big Brother, he has to help keep her safe as she is the key to the cure for the Zombie Virus, Izzy accompanied Kenchou to the cemetery to help him clean his grandfather's grave.
Maki[]
Kencho met Maki at a mixer in a convenience store where he hit it off with her as he was an expert at seduction and they headed to the bed section where they had many intimate encounters in a king-sized bed. Sadly, she was turned into a Zombie by Reika (after she got bitten by a recently zombified businessman), leaving Kencho to kill Maki and he was shown grieving over her zombification.
If Maki hadn't been turned into a zombie and survived, Kencho would've likely became the father to her child/children due to him using no protection during their rounds of intimacy.
Etymology[]
- The name Kenichirou means "constitution" (憲) (ken), "one" (一) (ichi) and "melodious, clear, bright, serene, cheerful" (朗) (rou).
- Kenichirou's surname Ryuuzaki means "dragon" (竜) (ryuu) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki/zaki).
Trivia[]
- Although Kencho's full name is revealed, he is only ever referred to by his nickname.
- As part of his downplayed desire to be a comedian, Kencho never bares his top nor does the naked gags in the live-action film compared to his anime/manga self, the latter is likely due to those types of gags not so easily to get away with in live action opposed to paper or animation.
- The reason why Kencho dyed his hair blonde is to symbolically separate himself from his former life as a real estate salesman that he hated as office workers wouldn't ever get hired with dyed hair and he instead hopes his newly blonde hair will help him make a bigger impact as a comedian as explained in Episode 5.
- Kencho appears to have a great amount of sexual stamina as he had many rounds of intimacy with Maki in Episode 4/Chapter 4-Chapter 5 and he did five rounds of sex with Sakura as seen at the end of Chapter 42 when he asked her "Shall we sneak in a sixth round?", clearly sharing that trait like his father.
- Because Kencho had many rounds of sexual intimacy without using any protection, he would have likely become the father to Maki's child and Sakura's child if the two women had survived, a similar situation to his own father before him. It is unknown if Sakura survived or was bitten when the Zombies attacked the ship, but if she did survive, she would more than likely had his child.
- Given his father has had sex with multiple women without protection, it is possible Kencho might have possible half siblings but we have yet to see if it is the case.
Miscellaneous[]
- Kencho shares a few notable traits with Kojiro Nanjo from SK8 the Infinity.
- Both are tall with handsome appearances, tan skin and they have muscular bodies with six-packs.
- Both show a lot of skin, but the only difference is that:
- While several of Kencho's casual attire has him shirt unbuttoned to reveal his torso, he is always shown to be completely naked in every episode and chapter.
- Joe's "S" attire usually has his jacket left unzipped to reveal his torso and he is only seen completely shirtless in one episode.
- Both are mostly called by their nickname (many people refer to Kenichirou as Kencho and Kojiro is commonly referred to as Joe) rather than their given name.
- Both are playboys who loves to charm and flirt with multiple women, but the only difference is that:
- Kencho engages in sexual intercourse with any woman he meets.
- Joe is only seen flirting and hanging out with multiple women.
