Consumer Cellular to terrible
Consumer Cellular WAS a great service until the past two years. Did somebody else take over? I just got done talking to the rudest person who kept cutting me off and over talking me and arguing against anything I said claiming she knows it all.
Ever since they dropped TMobile towers, the bars on my phone dropped to 1 or none. Told me I had to buy a new phone and I had just bought one from them less than 2 years before, plus it's the coverage that is the problem anyway.
The other phone we had we did replace (with one of theirs) because AT&T towers couldn't provide service and in less than a year, the mechanism broke and they said that wasn't covered under their warranty.
And, let's not forget the "hidden charges" of $15 a month in addition to your regular charge.
So, in conclusion, their phones evidently are poor quality; their coverage is spotty and also have dropped calls (what did you expect with AT&T?); there's an extra $15 a month added on they don't tell you about; and now their customer service is pathetic as well.
Would I reccommend them? NEVER.
