Families and friends

Families and friends, receives their gift/support with hassle-free in their Countries of origin.
And I am very satisfied and feel safe, from my end, on regards to their satisfactions.

Sending Money to Guatemala

I currently live in Puerto Rico, but my family is from Guatemala. I often help them with money and Western union has made this process easy and effective. The app saves my information and the recipients information, so I just choose who I want to send money to, and confirm a few details and in less than a minute it's ready. My family over at Guatemala has not have any troubles, picking up the money. The fees are low compare to other money services. It is a safe resource to use.

WESTERN UNION SETS LOW STANDARDS AND ROUTINELY FAILS TO ACHIEVE THEM......

✨ This feeble outfit is a shambles and a moral disgrace. I cannot speak lowly enough of their woefully inadequate customer care and attention and their business methods are truly third rate. I wouldn't trust this lamentable bunch of buffoons to run a mug club much less look after my hard earned money. Take my advice and follow me in deleting your account and uninstalling the WU app..... join MONEYGRAM or RIA. They are professional and reliable and you'll know the difference immediately. WU are inadequate and not worthy of any customer loyalty. You have been warned!

Go Western Union, Go...

The web page/App to execute fund transfers via Western Union is straight forward. Very self explanatory from senders standpoint. We also receive notification that transfer was entered successfully and is in process. Once funds are available in receivers institution a notification is sent to sender via email.

It's quite easy to do at the Post Office…

It's quite easy to do at the Post Office and the money arrives quickly BUT they charge you for same day drlivery and that is no good to me as, when I go to the post Office at 3pm and then have to go back home to send the number, the WU office in Rwanda is then closed till next day. Also I wish they would let me do bank account to bank account on my PC and they don't seem to want to let me do that.

Bad Changes

Each month you push more rules and security on us without notification or anything - as of 3 months ago I cant use my business card and today you stopped my transaction to ask me about ID questions which made me totally uncomfortable. software changes feel totally sketchy - i may be looking for another payment vendor soon

WU is a good service…2024

WU is a good service and the money arrives in moments. The only gripe I have is that the charges are higher in comparison with some other money transfer services. However, overall I still think it is avery good service

The set up for sending money abroad is…

The set up for sending money abroad is excellent with very little form- filling required.
My only experience with what I am not happy with is I send money to France to my stepson for medical help and some occasions he has been to collect cash and found it blocked ( only relatively small amounts 100- 200£ ) so then it means contacting western union to clear it as there had been a security block and then next time again it is blocked. I feel so sorry for him when I send him the transfer document and he travels to the pickup point and it is not available then goes home and has to come back again.

The service was good however he…

The service was good however he requires more savvy it skills
He constantly get name spelling wrong which he should delete incorrect and just tap in to correct.
This is an it training issue
They are helpful kind polite

Super easy to use

Super easy to use, fast transactions. Never had a single problem with sending money and recipient always receives within minutes. I would not use any other money transfer organisations.

Very easy to send money and the receivers gets it within minutes excellent service. I also like the text messages to say the person has collected the funds.

It is amazing how difficult it is to…

It is amazing how difficult it is to use this service and how frustrating the customer support is. I have been now complaining for months about the poor website and worse service. I've had an issue for over a month that has yet to be resolved.
