Truly Disgusting Company

We made an accidental duplicate booking and contacted Ticketek on the same day to let them know about it. Refund denied.

The agents are being forced to lie to try and end the call as quickly as possible. "We will escalate this to a higher department and call you back." No call ever comes.

I reach out again and they say the exact same thing, but when I ask them to send me an email confirming they would do so in writing, they refused and claimed they couldn't send emails lol. It's just hilariously scummy.

NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT USE.

Never buying tickets through you again.
Bought Disney on ice. No way of contacting customer service on their website. No phones no emails. Useless.
I purchased 'refundable' tickets paying a little extra in case we had to cancel and suddenly I caught a cold. So now there is no way to change or cancel the tickets. What a scam!!!

It is impossible to lodge a complaint…

It is impossible to lodge a complaint against Ticketek. They do not allow you to do so. I went to the Elvis concert at the Gold Coast and when I went to pick up my tickets they told me that they have already been picked up. Ticketek sold them again to other people after I had already purchased them months in advance. Ticketek are rip off agency and they should be held accountable.

What data breach? 17,643,173 users!

An awful user experience via their app. Impossibly frustrating customer service strategy designed to deflect and avoid responsibility. An alleged data breach of 17,643,173 accounts in May 2024 and they haven’t even bothered to contact me?! This company is the absolute pits and should be ashamed of their ambivalence towards their customers. Their review scores speak volumes and the voice of the customer is consistently negative.

I’ve been trying to purchase tickets…

I’ve been trying to purchase tickets for over a week now, every time I go to purchase I’m required to sign in, I keep getting the prompt that my password or credentials are wrong, so I’ve proceeded to go through the « forgot password » route, I’ve tried to reset my password on multiple occasions now but never receive an email prompting me to do so. At this rate tickets will be sold out and I will miss out all due to Ticketek’s lack of response. I’ve even gone to the lengths of creating a new account with a different email address and it says my email is already in use, which it’s not. Ticketek has no form of contact or help, if there were somewhere else to buy the tickets I would’ve gone a week ago. Horrible experience.

I have been trying to buy tickets for a show

I have been trying to buy tickets for a show for over a week now. The first day I attempted to buy tickets I entered my card details incorrectly a few times which blocked it according to Ticketek's website. I called my bank who confirmed it's not blocked (and I've been using it everyday since). I contacted Ticketek who called me twice on Monday before 1pm (when I was at work). I responded Monday afternoon to say I am free to chat and then nothing. I've been trying to buy tickets to the show everyday since and it still says my card is blocked. Not only that but tickets were $50 last week and now the cheapest ticket is $275. I've tried to reach out since Monday but no response. So disappointed.

Very difficult to contact ticketek. It took weeks to get a reply and they are not helpful at all. Better to buy your tickets through a different ticket seller if there is a choice to do so.

Have been waiting 6 weeks for my money…

Have been waiting 6 weeks for my money to land in account after selling Fisher tickets on their Ticketek marketplace. Impossible to get in touch with . The site says payment will be made after 10 days from the event . This is a lie and won’t be using these guys to purchase or sell tickets ever again. Highly recommended using other selling platforms to sell your tickets as you’ll probably never see the money . Terrible service !

Would give them 0 starts if that were…

Would give them 0 starts if that were an option but still give them the 1 just to warn everybody away from giving this dishonest company any more money. They cancel events and don't give any refunds, I've made around 15 requests/ contacts without a single response. No clear way to even contact them without jumping through hoops, eg, they hide events on their page to prevent people accessing the refund option

Heartless, worse customer service ever

My mum is in hospital, paralysed after a fall. The show she was supposed to attend is tomorrow. I messaged the customer service 3 business days ago on the behalf to get a refund. They required my mum to send an email (she’s paralysed, unsure how she would do that) or a drs note (the show is tomorrow and I will not be seeing her before then). After explaining this they wouldn’t budge.

This is a terrible time for my mum and our family. Ticketek’s policies and staff do not understand that and are so heartless

Excellent service! 10/10

Followed the procedure in the email link and filled out the refund form. We booked tickets to see a dinosaur show but I got gastro symptoms the night before, my partner has some and my son maybe did, so we stayed home just to be sure. I was ill for hours and disappointed we weren't able to go.
Sent in the refund form with low expectations, even though having completed the form. I figured there would be more steps and more hoops. I was sent an email immediately saying my form had been approved and the next day I received my refund! Very happy!! Definitely booking with ticketek again!
Easy form to fill out, great response, immediate action, and quick refund. 10/10

Full credit to Ticketek

Full credit to Ticketek - my previous experiences ordering tickets have often been painful and downright frustrating. Not so this time: quick, easy to manage and clear messaging. It seems Ticketek has listened and greatly improved its processes to make it easy for customers. Thanks and well done!

Undeclared Obstructed View Tickets at Non Obstructed View prices

Any legal firm willing to star action against this monolith? Sat 16th Jan, bought Unobstructed Tickets to Pink. The sound and lighting equipment blocked the view of most of the stage from our seats. Contacted Ticketek via Messenger. No resolution as yet. So far they have, contacted the Venue,The Promoter and are still waiting for the promoter to do God know what exactly? Ticketek sold us Obstructed View Seats,at the price of Non Obstructed View Seats. Ticket holders in our Bay were only able see the performers on the screens. Isn't this in breach of The Trade Practices Act i.e misrepresentiing
the Product?

WHY NOT BRING BACK THE SYSTEM WHERE BUYERS GO STRAIGHT INTO THE BUYING PAGE AS SOON AS TICKETS GO ON SALE? FIRST IN BEST DRESSED, LIKE IN THE OLD DAYS. ONCE IT SELLS OUT, THAT’S IT. BUT NO! TICKETEK MAKES U SPEND HOURS ON END WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH U HALF WITS!!!

Average overall

Average overall - it was easy to see the seats available, although the pricing varied hugely across the different dates.
I did not feel confident in payment as I don't like to have my card details saved, but I was not sure that this was avoided.
I'm now concerned that this is not the case.
Also we have to tick we've read the conditions - they're so long and it's not easy to see what can be shared. These days the process should be easier and clearer all round.

Terrible

The website does not allow you to buy tickets, tried several accounts and used different cards of mine, the website says my cards are blocked. I'm not the only one experiencing this issue either. None of my cards are blocked. This is a massive error on their website, denying people from seeing events. Such a shame so many big names / sports teams rely on this awful company. Avoid. The 1 star speaks for itself.

Seamless and straight forward.
Parking booked at P1 - easy entrance and exit. Great selection of food options in the vicinity. Concert entry and exit was super cool.
Not a fan of forcing people in one direction to get out of stadium and having to circumnavigate to get to car park faster.

Quite a simple process

it was easy to log on, didnt have to wait very long in the queue which is always good. The time that we are allowed could be extended as my first attempt timed out. Also when I selected a specific section it said not even 1 seat was available but when I changed to best recommended there were plenty available in the section I wanted. Unsure why that is, but that could be improved to make it easier for peope.

Worse web site everThis is by far the worse website ever

This is by far the worse website ever - you only have 7 minutes to purchase tickets, which is ridiculous. By the time you put in barcodes, select number of tickets required, then area, go through ticking stupid boxes, then wait until payment details are checked & processed, your timed out & have to go through the whole process again. Surely you can allow customers 10 minutes to go through the process - you don't even have time to check or change seats you have been given. I have been timed out every time at the payment screen - l have to wait more time waiting for screens to be refreshed, which should be taken out of the time limit.

The website constantly failed

The website constantly failed. Was slow and errored in the shopping basket. Added the same tickets twice and then came up with an error message when trying to delete. Horrible buggy experience. The company has one thing to get right - sell tickets ..
