I'd bought a couple of pairs of Teddy Locks socks at a Christmas fair and was very happy with them so I wanted to order some more. Unfortunately, the website isn't particularly clear as it's written in American so you don't know which socks are which. Also, you have to set up an account to place an order which I really don't like. Having said that, the socks are comfortable and hard wearing and I would thoroughly recommend them.

Lovely socks with a conscience! Super soft, comfortable and stylish! Love that they are made with recycled plastic bottles so you can help the planet at the same time as being comfortable and well made.

Bought 2 sets from Teddy Locks due to their (true) ethical credentials. Nice to see a business stand by their values instead of pretending. Both sets are really comfy and have kept their shape after a few trips in the washing machine.
Royal Mail also managed to lose my first order but TL sent out another batch the same day I contacted them, which was greatly appreciated!
Highly recommend.

I bought my original sox from the Malvern Show & was impressed enough to go to the website. I liked the ethical vibe & once I had found out the correct size to order (USA is different from UK sizes) it was easy to order, pay & wait for the delivery which only took a few days. Sox arrived today and are fine.

Bought my teddy locks around lockdown. At the time I was given the benefits and was told they were made to last. I never believe the sales schpiel. I am reviewing because nearly three years on despite having been worn fortnightly, often weekly, they have developed no holes, even at fabric stitch joins around the heel. Despite having been worn with fabric plasters (when I’ve had blisters) there is very little pobbling. I recommend buying a larger size because they shrink over time on a 40 wash. They do pick up a little colour from other items. They’re still soft, just a little snug. I’d recommend, just buy the next size up.

Gutted to say these have been a complete disappointment. Bought these for my son’s birthday after meeting Sam at the Wealden Fair. My teen is really into labels and sustainability. We had high hopes but he wore them once and I washed them to find them all covered with black bobbles (he did wear them with black trainers). Response was "the best I can suggest is to wash them again and then use a pilling machine to see if you can get the black off". I bought these in good faith. They were expensive and I won't be buying more.

These socks are a gift so I really can't say too much other than they are beautiful and soft. I'm all about sustainability and so is my friend who I plan to give these socks to. I know she will appreciate this gift especially when she finds out what it's made out of.

These are my favorite socks that I've purchased, plus they're great for the planet! They're soft, comfortable (don't squeeze my ankles), and are simple to wear with any outfit. I feel like that's tough to find in the sustainable market.

I love Teddy Locks! They're soft, but durable. They stay up without cutting off my circulation. The designs and colors are fun. I just stocked up on several colors and designs. Based on a previous purchase, they should last a long time.
