Below are the most recent 30 comments. I try to keep it clean of comment spam, but some times things
get through and it takes me several hours to get to it. So please excuse any of that comment spam.
Another cash grab to rapidly deplete advertiser's budgets when they launch a new campaign and forget/overlook the targeting option. Those unfamiliar with G Ads will be the ones mostly falling for this trick. When advertisers complain to Google, then Google will deflect and blame it on their settings.
For a brief moment this morning, 2 top keywords that my site was dominating before the March update appeared in the #1 and #3 spots. I noticed while query testing in Chrome incognito. I quickly fired up my VPN to check another U.S. location and same. Then it dawned on me to close incognito and reopen and try again. GONE (back to their recent crappy positions). What I saw before were completely different results than the crap served over the past few months. Almost as if someone goofed and briefly rolled back. Or maybe they are doing some random split testing.
People use a search engine to find "sources from across the web." So ask yourselves, is this feature being added now in preparation for AI Overviews to answer queries? Or will this transform into another one of those useless refinement boxes like the People Also Ask box that answers questions with more questions?
For a couple of keywords, I moved down one spot, which pushed me to the 2nd page but that's about it. Maybe we will see how bad it is in a day or two
Yesterday we saw a small amount of sales from Google, which was better than what I've seen in a long time. I suspect this is temporary and part of Google's continued games of rationing traffic and traffic quality. Go back about five years, and we would see unnatural bursts in good traffic from Google at certain hours of the day. Then Google's traffic rationing tightened more to certain days within the week. Then it got even worse to Google traffic rationing so many days per month, and now it seems like Google will allow some legitimate traffic through one day during an entire quarter. It's ridiculous how far Google goes to manipulate the traffic and the entire economy for their own profit.
it's really annoying when there are new post that basically useless and all the comments from the old vanished
at this point this site needs a forum
but it won't be made for obvious reasons
Yup, traffic terrible today compared to yesterday. Search algorithm updates tend to affect us one or two days after the tools show movement. We're a media outlet btw.
I will but right now my focus is to make sure increase my direct traffic from 23 a day to 100 a day once it reached to 500 i think i will get a better one.
I dont care about traffic recently one of blogspot gets traffic of 10k from duckduckgo. when people cant find stuff on google they moved to other platforms that is eye opening
The blog is about a sports event | i have posted its links on fourms, social bookmarking sites etc and in four days this what i get.

i have my site approved with same adsense account, but problem is that recently they have changed their policy if the site have lower traffic and content is less than 700 to 800 words u wont get approval In 2022 i got approved with just 10 posts with 250 words content so i think they have began something new with their adsense. I just want to apply adsense see if its approve my target is to mediavine or other publisher network who paid on ecpm not on clicks.
Thats why affiliates sales decrease because theses sites are occupying's the actual sites results who are doing only affiliates work. Mostly people try to find the sites with their names now in google sites who become brand in last five years or 10 years retain their position with direct traffic and direct customers
There are some toonami series going on they are positing that soon because these toonami series currently getting serious traffic from Korea, Japan, US. Looks like they are hungry for more content no issues of copyright after putting nofollow link to their article.
Pinkvilla, Sportskeeda, TheSportsrush, Essentially sports and there many other sites specially this sarkariexam i am not against what they are posting but recently they start copying content of big sites and their older posts shaping them in new form and getting ranked. Recently many of these sites give nofollow link use the estimated data i put for athletes contracts and my site which ranked on 1st page is no where but they rank and since these updates when i search my site name sportskeeda and essentially sports come on third number just 2 position down to my site homepage rank in google.
No indication from google but if u see sitemaps in search console you can not check how many posts index its stopped showing the results for almost half of month.
I think google is working on AI searches, because there are some keywords in my site niche if search them with topic i got the result of amazon products on top of the list.
There is google update going i have witness earlier when suddenly bing search performance chart stopped in July, no updates on my bing search console since 6th July... In June same thing happen in last week Bing search console search data stopped for 5 days and once google updates completed on 29th June its start giving stats back.. Traffic is dead from 6th July from 400 visitors to 35 visitor a day, posts rank in google but once big news sites published related to it content not same keywords they rank, they rank higher than the official sites of the events.
chatter is limited becuse most board users are at rock bottom trafic so they don't notice.. it will be reddit, forbes, quora, Cnet etc arguing between themselves
If it makes you feel better... My filing for this year (for last year's income) was negative... -$20K+. Mainly because of many failed projects too; and trying to revive HCU-killed sites, etc..
I'm suddenly eligible for welfare benefits and everything (lol), but I chose not to opt for any and decide to just use my savings and all to salvage the situation (cut down expenses, etc).
The quality of the search results has degraded so much that it can't be explained in words. I just started working on one of my posts to check the kind of sites that are occupying positions in the SERPs. The results are just horrible to the power of infinity.
