We found that molar ratios of LiBH4 to MTe2 ranging from 0.75 to 1 are suitable for achieving a high exfoliation yield of more than 60% for MoTe2, 50% for WTe2, 80% for NbTe2, 80% for TaTe2 and 40% for TiTe2.
