The Preview Panel has just ended, which means we can show off everything that was revealed.
First off, the set that will release the latest: Bloomburrow. The set is based on animal-focused fantasy. Let's start with the hero of the story, Mabel. Here she shows off the showcase woodland frame and the Collector Booster-exclusive raised fil borderless anime frame.
Recently, the predatory calamity beasts of the world have gone on a rampage. Meet one of them, the bear Lumra. Here we have the card in two borderless variants: field notes and a series done by legendary artist Mistuhiro Arita.
The set's full-art basics come in fours, with one to represent each season.
We also have a Starter Kit related to this set. Here are the face cards for each deck.
For more details, including important dates, the Commander precons and the Courageous Critters promotion, see here. Note that Ral here is not part of the promotion and is actually an otter in this set.
EDIT: Added everything from the First Look article.
Cragflame really makes me think that Bloomburrow is an offshoot of Eldraine and its Irencrag. Maybe the imagination there has a corrupting influence on Ral...or maybe Ral is just a huge fan of planeswalkers. The only thing that doesn't sound like Eldraine is the calamity beasts.
So... everyone who comes to Bloomburrow becomes their fursona?!? The same way enteing Segovia in certain ways will resize you?!? Unexpected. Just as unexpected as seeing Jace again so soon. Maybe these are something different - reprints of planeswalkers in Bloomburrow-style. I haven't watched the panel yet, so I don't know whether they indicated the art belongs to special guests.
EDIT: The big wording news is a not unexpected change: "enters the battlefield" gets shortened to "enters". I wonder whether the same applies to "leaves the battlefield".

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

And finally, the Imagine: Courageous Critters showcase treatment invites you to envision renowned Planeswalkers and creatures were they to visit the plane of Bloomburrow!
...Right above a picture of Jace Fox.
Sorry, folks.
OK, so Ral's known to still be a planeswalker, meaning Jace sruvived, but presumably lost his spark.
Edit: Oh, it's a showcase alternate thing, never mind.
Note how for Ral it has a name that doesn't exist yet, while the name for the Jace artwork wasn't revealed. I think Ral shows up in Bloomburrow, but Jace doesn't. Whether or not Ral is still a planeswalker remains to be seen. Omenpaths are a thing now, remember.

Wasn't it comfirmed that Ral still has his spark in Murder at karlov manor?
The furrifying thing is... weird. I get why they did it: it's an animal world so it would be a disjunction to include human planeswalkers. But it adds an awkward twinge to what is otherwise a plane with better aesthetics than most. And they have enough non-human planeswalkers they could've used some of them instead.
I'm looking forward to the style of the showcase art. Quite delightful. I'm a fan of Mistuhiro Arita, and I'll be happy to see what they got out of him (not crazy about the scary bear).
I love the idea of the seasonal art lands, but I really wish they changed the gesture of the figure each time so it felt like time was actually passing. As is, it feels like a theoretical idea of what seasons are like, rather than this individual's experience of their territory throughout a year.
"Enters the battlefield" becomes "enters". Good. Finally. I've disliked that wording ever since they changed it from "comes into play". An easy-to-grok one-word solution is nice.

OH SNAP!!! HOW DID I MISS THAT!?!?!?!
Atlast they finally after all these years shorten ETB
I really like the alternate frame treatment in this set.
The RG reanimate pre-con must be centered on artifact and maybe lands? The squirrel one will be popular i guess even if they are not my bag of tea. Neither is group hug, but there are enough fan of that to make it sellable.
I hope for a lot of mice soldiers and knights (in at least boros color)... they look adorable. And good token generators in Jeskai for Kasla, the Broken Halo maybe that would motivate me to build a deck with her as the commander.
I think this is gonna be the set I get back into playing again. The art is fantastic and the setting feels fresh for mtg in a way that the cowboy frontier set somehow doesn't.
I'm the opposite. I find the art style off-putting childish, amateurish and unoriginal. I will dread having to play standard with rodent armies
You must not have been a fan of MBC when Pack Rat was running around then.
This set feels a lot better than Murders at Karlov's Marlov, which felt really silly for how serious that was supposed to come off or something like Capenna, and especially UB anything.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

Oh, possible. I don't remember, haha.
The story refers to him as a planeswalker and Tomik, Wielder of Law has affinity for planeswalkers.
With Segovia existing, and turning people small, it's no wonder they'd play around with the Kingdom Hearts rules more.
Well, it's a STORK, so it still fits

Look at who the artist is for the showcase borderless art of Lumra, bellow of the woods
see who the artist is for these?
You know what this means we got a artist from the Pokémon card game to commission art

You think you have it bad, I have to play Historic with Phyrexian armies forever.
