Since the we have run two versions in Melbourne, which have both been at capacity and lots of fun. It's Sydney's turn! CDP + RMP = 🥰 CDP: Customer Data Platform RMP: Retail Media Platform Worldwide, more companies who have a CDP and have a RMP, should increase the use casing between the two. There are also a surprising amount of Retail Media Networks, that don't have a CDP, nor offer sophisticated/dynamic audiences. 𝙎𝙊 𝙈𝙐𝘾𝙃 𝙊𝙋𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 🎉 Use casing between a CDP + RMP: 1️⃣ Customer Audiences [RFM, Remarketing, Behavioural, In-Market] 2️⃣ Measurement to inform Objectives [LTV, Lapsed, New, Loyalty Tiers] 3️⃣ Performance Reporting [campaign effectiveness] From conversations I've had with Retailers globally, the combination of CDP x RMP is still nascent, however partnerships and use casing at Zitcha with leading CDP vendors such as mediarithmics, and Amperity has really begun to shine a light on the possible. I posted regarding CDP + RMP a month ago, and there was some confusion in market of if there was overlap. I've tried to clearly provide high-level capabilities in the below image. There is a clear interplay and value proposition between the two [obviously the two vendors require the right capabilities]. If you're a Retailer wanting to understand more, love to chat. 𝘼 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍 𝙊𝙉... I posted the below scenario over a year ago, as an example of the common Retail Media "stack" and processes that existed across many of the Networks. From many conversations had globally the first 6mths of the year, it continues to be very common. Especially with the increasing inclusions and growth across Offsite and Instore. Many are even referencing "we have our very own Frankenstack"! The "Multi System Chaos" scenario. It can have some of these negative outcomes:: 𝙄𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩: lots of manual application and workflow in and out of different systems. 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚: number of people required, and license and storage fees of software 𝙐𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚: transferring of data across email, 3rd parties and saving on desktops 𝙋𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: for both operators [Sales and Ops teams] and brands Many finally are quickly realising that this operating model, just isn't 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Not only from a Managed Service perspective, but there is just no way of offering Self Services for Brand Partners [those with large in-house teams, agencies, and long tail]. The growth of Retail Media has been and is incredibly exciting. However truly at a really interesting point of scaleability, where structures and processes need to be optimised [especially as agenies begin to play a greater role]. What a special few days! Shoptalk Europe has come to an end. Being here made me really appreciate how amazing the retail community is across Europe. It was fantastic to spend time with customers, partners and meet new friends. A few insights: 1️⃣ There are a significant number of fast followers planning to launch Retail Media networks in the next 12mths. Also a number reviewing their current network and transformation plans. 2️⃣ The interest and demand from Brands spending across Retail Media in Europe [also from those with Global remits] is incredibly encouraging. So many innovative ways they want to optimise and grow! 3️⃣ We will see huge collaboration between tech partners across the Retail Media ecosystem, driving improved campaign insights, targeting, optimisation, as well as streamlined processes.
