Patient care is not just a job for Amanda Ferrier, RN, BSN, CCRA, PMP; it's her fervent passion and the driving force behind her career. Amanda’s journey began in 1997 as an Emergency/Trauma nurse, where she witnessed firsthand the urgency and complexity of critical medical situations. It was in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department that she unexpectedly found herself drawn into the world of research, particularly time-critical stroke trials.
This pivotal experience ignited a new direction in Amanda’s career, leading her towards clinical research. Simultaneously, her personal connection to the medical field, with her father undergoing treatment for NSCLC, fueled her desire to make a meaningful impact in oncology.
What she does isn't just a profession; it's a calling that resonates deeply within her. The opportunity to facilitate access to life-saving medications and contribute to the advancement of healthcare is what motivates her every day. Nursing serves as the cornerstone of Amanda’s career, infusing every role she has undertaken within the research sphere with a commitment to compassionate care and improving patient outcomes.
