Job Description

Qualities / Experience:

  • Experience working in a weld fabrication environment
  • Products include complete systems with welded, machined and purchased parts assembled to produce a finished piece of 'equipment'.
  • Experience reviewing assembly drawings to provide shop floor guidance for efficient start-up of production runs
  • Interface between the shop floor and Engineering for drawing changes
  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge to create shop floor routings to produce parts
  • Basic understanding of
    • Welding
    • Forming
    • Press brake
Desired

  • Experience setting up production lines for short production runs of 200 or less 'fabricated assemblies'
  • Solid Works experience
  • Experience designing tooling / fixtures for weldments
  • Hands on experience in welding/forming/machining
