Grants Administrator
Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a leading organization dedicated to impactful environmental and community-focused initiatives, is seeking a skilled Grants Administrator. This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of public and private grants, ensuring compliance, and streamlining processes to manage numerous subawards annually. Summary: The Grants Administrator will manage a significant award from a state agency, including subawards to various partner organizations. The position involves developing and implementing new processes for oversight and management of these subawards, as well as supporting previously awarded and future grants. The role reports to the Director of Field Financial Services within the Finance Team and does not have supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities:

- Drafting and tracking subawards for partner organizations
- Monitoring compliance with grant terms and developing approval processes
- Managing state systems and user accounts
- Overseeing submission of invoices and application of payments
- Maintaining auditable grant files and supporting annual audits
- Providing staff support and training related to government funding
- Collaborating with the Senior Grants Administrator on federal funds compliance when applicable
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3 years of related experience
- Experience with government award management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency with accounting systems, general ledger reports, and Microsoft Excel
- Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and reliable self-starter
- Able to sit prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Able to work primarily in an office setting
- Estimated travel: ~5% for monitoring subgrants and attending staff meetings
- Knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and relevant grants administration certifications
- Experience with state government systems
- Prior experience using SharePoint
