Job Overview

We're seeking an Atlanta-based Events Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team! This exciting role involves planning, coordinating, and executing our participation in trade shows and industry events. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills who can effectively support our sales team and senior leaders.

What You'll Do

Event Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive event strategies to maximize our visibility and engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align event participation with overall goals
  • Create engaging booth experiences to drive traffic and generate leads
  • Maximize return on event investments
  • Assist in securing speaking engagements

Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of event management, including timelines, budgets, and logistics
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of trade show activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with events
  • Liaise with event organizers and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials for successful exhibitor experiences

Guidance And Coordination

  • Prepare team members for successful event participation
  • Guide event attendees in all aspects of their participation
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings with the sales team
  • Assemble and ship collateral and materials to event venues

Analysis And Reporting

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify improvements
  • Prepare detailed reports on event performance and ROI

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage event budgets
  • Provide regular financial updates and recommend cost-saving measures

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in event or project management
  • Proven project management skills and ability to lead complex projects
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work from our Atlanta office when needed for shipping materials
