What We're Looking For 🌟


We're in search of a Human Resources Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation Practice team! The Human Resources Compensation Analyst will be working with the Practice Leader and Project Manager to serve Tribal, public and private organizations, and not-for-profit clients on numerous compensation-related projects.


What You'll Do 🚀


  • Reviewing job descriptions for each position within an organization to ensure each description accurately reflects the job classification and salary scale assigned.
  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and fairly scoring jobs through REDW’s proprietary compensable factors.
  • Benchmarks/scores jobs utilizing CompEase software (training is provided), utilizing survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Analyzes existing compensation practices and works with the Compensation Practice team to recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and organization’s objectives.
  • Follows clients’ compensation philosophy to guide projects.
  • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.


What You'll Bring 💥


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • Two years of human resources experience or human resources consulting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple functional areas of HR (such as recruiting, benefits, team member relations, HRIS, compensation, training, etc.).
  • Ability to write and draft reports.

REDW is proud of our commitment to equal pay for equal work. Knowing our team members are multi-dimensional people, we take special consideration to value each candidate. The potential annualized pay range for this position is $49,000 to $73,000. We make compensation offers within the range based on a range of individual factors, including but not limited to location, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs, and applicable employment laws. Sharing pay information upfront fosters an open, transparent dialogue around how we value candidates’ unique strengths.
