  • Presenting a New User Screen in Response to Detection of a User Motion

    Filed US 20110291933

The patent covers "flicking up" (gesture based UI or trackball/pad) on a mobile device to invoke an overlay screen. Sort of the opposite of pulling down the notifications screen on the iOS 5.0. We implemented this in our first Xobni for BlackBerry product.
