“Immediately after graduating from college Allison hired me as an intern for Everyday Industries. I attribute my career not only to my university but, to the time I spent at Everyday Industries. She was patient with me and allowed me to observe client meetings, create customer journeys, share input on current client work, and create a few designs for clients. Wonderful leader!”

How can you use visual design to address user pain points in your product or service?
User pain points are any moments in a service or experience where something doesn't work as the user expects or desires. These pain points can be categorized into three levels of severity: bumps, rocks, and boulders. Bumps: Minor inconveniences or confusing elements, such as an unclear icon that is difficult to find or interpret. Rocks: More significant issues that hinder the user's progress, like a service failing to provide adequate guidance for users to make informed decisions. Boulders: Critical problems that severely impact the user experience and lead to frustration or abandonment. Boulders often result from an accumulation of multiple bumps and rocks throughout the user journey.
