Congratulations Victoria Lyons, our new Planning Editor. We know you’re going to develop unique, local content plans for our teams like a champ! When asked how she has prepared for this new role, Victoria reflected on the past 11 years that she has been producing in Central Florida, six of which she was an Executive Producer. “I really enjoy highlighting the unique stories, figuring out the best way to grab the viewers attention. As a member of the […] community, I want to showcase the stories that matter to each neighborhood.” What excites our new Planning Editor about her future? “This new role will stretch my skillset in a new way while allowing me to still have a voice in the newsroom. I look forward to making new connections with the people of Central Florida. As a mom of two young girls, it also allows me to still be part of a news station that I love and spend quality time with my daughters outside of work.” Victoria is a strong role model not just as girl mom but to everyone at News 6. You’re going to crush it in your new position! #CommunityEngagement #Storytelling #CentralFlorida #CareerDevelopment #GrowthMindset #NewRole #JournalismJobs #News6 #GettingResults
