Last week, we wrapped up our second #CampNawicpgh2024, and I'm thrilled to share that it was a great success. Our focus on fostering lasting friendships among the girls truly shined through as they departed on the final day. 😅 A big shoutout to our dedicated committee members: Maureen E. Sweeney , Amy Fazzolari, Danielle Harshman, and a special mention to the invaluable last-minute addition, Marina Bulazo. A massive “heck yeah!!” to our exceptional chair, Joelle Salerno, for steering the ship and ensuring the camp's success. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Heartfelt gratitude to the training centers/locations – International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America , Iron Workers Local Union No. 3 , Eaton , BRICKLAYERS LOCAL UNION NO 9 PA JOINT EDUCATION AND TRAINING FUND , Pittsburgh International Airport , your support was indispensable in making this camp a reality. Our Virginia Beach location participated in Clean the Bay Day this month! Every year, Virginia Beach residents clean up litter from around the Chesapeake Bay. Thank you for helping keep the Bay clean!

🔦 Project Spotlight— I-79 Restoration— Neville Island to I-279 Fay, S&B USA Construction recently finished the I-79 Restoration project this month! The I-79 Restoration— Neville Island to I-279 was a partial Design-Build project (traffic control plan and bridge structure) which included the rehabilitation and preservation of five bridges, sign structures, asphalt milling and resurfacing, drainage and pavement markings for 5.9 miles of highway. 🚧Recent Work ➡️Completed 25 Miles of recessed pavement markings 🚧Project Highlights ➡️Replacement of four mainline bridge decks at I-79 over Glenfield Road and at I-79 over Red Mud Hollow Road ➡️Rehabilitation and painting of a structural steel structure, I-79 Northbound bridge over I-279 Southbound ➡️Milling and paving on 24.16 lane-miles of I-79 over two full shutdown weekends ➡️Milling and paving of six ramps at the PA 65/Kilbuck Street Interchange, two ramps at the Glenfield Road Interchange, and four ramps at the Mt. Nebo Road Interchange over two full shutdown weekends ➡️Rehabilitation of seven existing sign structures, the installation of four new ITS Dynamic Message sign structures, highway lighting upgrades, drainage upgrades, signing upgrades, guiderail and new pavement markings/delineation Photos 1-2: Glenfield Bridges Photos 3-5: Red Mud Bridges
