Director at Insight Partners | Venture Capital | Data & AI

I had a great opportunity to present at the VC Platform Summit hosted by the VC Platform Global Community last week. Thanks Joshua Goodfield for hosting me. I was able to explore use cases of Generative AI for Product and Engineering, Go-To-Market, Talent, and VC Platform teams including: 1. Empowering PMs and Developers Across the SDLC GenAI can assist developers and product managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning to maintenance and deployment. It provides code suggestions, bug detection, and testing automation, accelerating development and improving product quality. GenAI can also enable Product Managers to help summarize UX research and discovery to more closely capture the voice of the customer. Sourcegraph CodiumAI Swimm Sweep 2. Shortening Onboarding Time for GTM Teams GenAI streamlines the onboarding process for sales teams, enabling new reps to quickly learn about Ideal Customer Profiles, personas and developing a strategic narrative through AI-driven simulations and guides. It also automates lead qualification and routine tasks, allowing reps to focus on building meaningful relationships. Writer 6sense Jasper AI 3. Optimizing Recruiting with Ideal Candidate Profiles GenAI aids HR teams in creating ideal candidate profiles and automating personalized outreach. This ultimately improves applicant quality and speeds up the hiring process. GenAI can also help summarize interviews and draft technical scorecards, opening up time for more personalized interview experiences. 5. Data Augmentation and Enterprise Automation GenAI streamlines the process of data labeling and enrichment, enhancing the quality and usability of data by cleaning and augmenting it. It can also enable you to seamlessly integrate and manage various systems such as Datalakes, CRM platforms, and live chat systems using simple natural language commands. Routine tasks like research, summarization and data scraping can be completely augmented, opening up time for higher level creative tasks. Happy #EarthDay, everyone 🌎🎉 As part of our annual #SoftwareInService Earth Day cleanup campaign, we have enabled our portfolio companies worldwide to participate in local cleanups throughout April. We will be highlighting engaged portfolio companies throughout the week. Check out the Imubit team pictured below at their local cleanup, which covered a three-mile radius at Buffalo Bayou. This year, we’re also planting a “ScaleUp Forest'' powered by our partners at Evertreen. By engaging local farmers and communities, we're creating sustainable livelihoods and supporting these communities to be powerful agents of global forest restoration. We encourage you to join us on an individual or organizational level: https://lnkd.in/eEPKxWSj. We’ve already seen 1,000+ trees planted 🌳 Insight seeks to ensure that all investments, including existing portfolio companies, understand the impact of any material climate change-related risks on their operations and/or customers. These considerations are particularly relevant across software verticals, including supply chain, proptech, GRC, govtech, regtech, insuretech, and generative AI.
