We’re here for our customers 24/7, even on holidays - because emergencies can happen any time. Our teams have been out today responding to emergencies, just like they were on this day in 2022. Our Bakersfield District Superintendent Marty P. took this photo that night under the fireworks as the team worked to repair a service leak, safely and promptly, to restore water for customers.

At Cal Water, we believe it’s important to keep customers informed about the work we do to deliver safe, clean, and reliable drinking water. Every year, we develop system-specific water quality reports to inform the communities we serve about their water supply, sustainability, testing, and more. The 2024 reports are now available for review online https://lnkd.in/eyaknM3Y #waterquality #sustainability

As we head into the hotter, fire-prone, drier season, we at Cal Water understand how critical our infrastructure investments and efforts to support firefighters are to the state’s overall fire preparedness. With our changing climate creating more fire-hazard areas, we recognize that preparedness comes in many different forms – from providing reliable and safe water systems, as well as technical support, to more than 50 fire departments and 125 stations in California to emergency preparedness and response training for our employees. Read more from our Director of Field Operations Darin Duncan about the proactive steps we take to enhance our readiness for both wildland and urban fires and how we all can be water-wise and fire-wise.
