So you choose a target. if you have a weapon, you hit it, then the birds also strike for 6 damage?
Wow, some Hunter main really loves his parrots!
No, the birds have "immune while attacking" and they attack the chosen target after summoning.
Essentially it's deal 6 damage and summon 2 birbs - but they could benefit from summoning triggers and attack buffs.
Chatty Macaw says hello!
I like how they printed Ranger Gilly followed to none other card that supports it.
I guess we know what is going to be one of Warrior archetypes this set.
The cards are pretty nice. The location is I mean, like a coin. You spend 2-Mana to save 3-Mana you end up with a (+1 Mana) advantage. but I guess you can carry it over turns to work as some kind of Ramp.
And the spell I don't know, 6 damage and to ducks with a solid effect might be good enough for 6, but also...not really? It gives me strong Blood in the Water and I kinda imagine that is going to see the same amount of play.
Well it's a warrior tourist card so it's meant to synergize with warrior
If the face plays taunt, Furious Fowls still go face. So: good.
The location is clunky as nearly every other hunter mana cheat: spend 2 to gain 3, but only works with battlecries. Someone on Reddit compared this to The Coin, but with extra steps. And less flexibility, I would add.
The coin would waste 2 draws, a draw is a very valuable thing, unless you run some kind of weird heavily-drawing setup (assuming a class even has coins available).
I'm just comparing the effect. A single Coin isn't terribly exciting, and neither is this location. 2-mana tempo loss on a prior turn to set up a payoff for which you need to build your deck (and draw) specific cards (battlecries). Clunky.
By comparison, I think the best mana cheat hunters ever got was Cloaked Huntress. Second best being Defend the Dwarven District.
The location is okay but is Furious Fowls any good? 6 Mana 6 damage two 3/2s on board? Feels like its sorta on point there.
I'm not sure I'd run it over Firelands Portal and that's... not good.
