this guy is the tourist?
Not sure what I'll make of this in combation with Sasquawk you might get a really powerhand.
I'd rate it a solid card 3/5, of course it can go up and down but I do think we will see some kind of hunter deck that aims to buff their hand and this goes well into that.
Hollow Hound, legs buckling, holding all the practical weight for these handbuff hunter pipedreams.
I mean... Isn't it just bad?
Those Warrior cards better be good.
I don't know, feels a little overcosted, like I'm not sure if I will ever rather play this over two Messenger Buzzard .
Like yeah, you can trigger this 3 times, and give your hand +6/+9 (nice), and what? DK can do that with Amateur Puppeteer and that's a rare card. Even Armagedillo a card from 5 years ago looks stronger than this.
I'm probably underrating the card, cause I play with my Wild glasses on, and on Wild looks satirically slow, but I'm not that sure if is really going to be that much better in standard. But I always give every card the benefit of the doubt.
Even to Two-Faced Investor and Jesus Christ that card is bad. Is like "the worst card in the game nobody thinks on".
You bozos talking about the crocolisk, like the point of the card isnt the +2/+3 on minions in hand and the crocolisk is just to have another target for the value... This is basically a wish upon a star with a body, plus openning the warrior cards.
It's only hand so not even close to wish
I didnt say it was the same, but its cheaper, has a body, opens up warrior cards, also don't forget its a deathrattle, so it might even be triggered multiple times with hunter xenanigans.
It can be silienced so, unless you have a way to kill it on the same turn, it's weaker than it looks.
Yeah there's 0 silences in the meta. Rogue had really good silence and no room for a maybe card
The chance that your opponent got something that silences it is slim very slim, more likely they might have something to steal it off you. Silence isnt really a big part of the meta and from what I can tell from the cards so far I doubt silence will grow in popularity either. I dare to say that in over 95%+ of all situations if you drop this on 6 it will either die on your opponents turn and trigger the DR or survive until your 7th.
I'd take those odds anyday, its more likely your opponent has something to break your weapon doesnt stop you from running them do it, counters are only a problem if they become meta randoms running weird tech choices won't affect your overall performance with a deck.
I used "silence" in a broad sense, there are various wiping and destroying spells in the game that don't trigger deathrattles including titans etc.
Generally a deathrattle is a very hit a miss thing in this game to rely on (especially if it's a single minion (hunters spam-deathrattling was good)).
This will later be buffed to 5 mana
Handbuff Hunter vs Handbuff DK vs Handbuff Paladin... THE ULTIMATE!
#MakeCrocsGreatAgain
Im not too crazy about it. Legendary minions should feel more epic than this. I would let the vanilla croc stay if the buff was at the end of each turn. That would make the card insanely good.
Probably a reference to Steve Irwin or the Irwin family in general.
Anyways, I feel the tourist cards are designed “bad” or “expensive” because their power lies in the their deck building effect.
You wouldn’t say Baku or Genn are bad because they are vanilla beats sticks for example. This card’s effect should be considered a bonus rather than the main thing.
Edit: what I am trying to say is, you aren’t including this card in your deck solely for its effect but rather to include warrior cards.
Isn't this like cartoonishly bad? River Crocolisk?!
So slow and uninteractive for a turn 6
So Blizzard is back to pushing hand-buff hunter, after killing it by rotating Selective Breeder out of the core set. This is slow, and hunter still doesn't have any deathrattle support besides Yelling Yodeler. (Maybe in the warrior set?) Can hunters wait until turn 7 for the payoff (assuming not stolen, transformed, silenced, poofed, etc.)?
