Extremely common. OK you're not a flood paladin, but any class can have a spam of minions if they plan for it.
It's the Kel'Thuzad effect on a 3 mana card, could potentially steamroll people out the game early on. KT was tried a bit back in the older days of HS and when he did work, it was often gamewinning, the issue is that the board states have to be "just so" for it to do so.
Pretty weak as a card other than being a tourist. Should probably be 2 mana.
In any situation where you get to trade units, this is strong right off the bat. In the worst case scenario where you only have one single 1-Mana minion on the board, this card basically is a 3-Mana 2/2 that summons a random 2-Mana minion. That by itself would be alright. Now imagine any other situation and you'll see just how strong this card can be.
Extremely strong, IF you have 6 minions, and kill them all.
Looks fun but a bit weak. It only works when your board is already good-ish (the enemy couldn't clear it and you can trade) or with token summoning that will just summon a bunch of random 2-cost drops for 4+ mana. Is it good?
Or with rush, but paying 3 mana to evolve one or two minions is kinda bad
Extremely common. OK you're not a flood paladin, but any class can have a spam of minions if they plan for it.
It looks pretty good to me. One situation I always hate is when I want to Evolve something, but is not going to survive the Trading, so I have to choose if I rather kill the minion or evolve mine, this cards solves that problem.
And also is pretty good both with Pirates and Murlocs, cause both minion types are mainly little bastards that put some damage, and this works pretty nice with it. Tho is almost a Battlecry-like effect cause it's pretty hard to use for more that one turn, but you never know when you trade a minion, and that minion evolves into 9 consecutive Taunts.
Situationally insane. If it's in a token deck and the meta is board focused, there'll be a lot of cases where Cookie hits the board, and trading wins the game on the spot. There's not really any shaman cards that promote that, including in this set, but the DH cards might help. Patches the Pilot is a token card.
Throw another in "Could be nutty but needs support."
There should be an Achievement to promote Murloc Tinyfin to Deathwing in one game.
Would be boring to do and frustrating, 1/42 chance to pull deathwing
What is that number based on? There should be way more minions that cost 1 or more than just 42.
Well the goal is to go from a 0 cost Murloc Tinyfin to 10 mana. It does not matter how you arrive at 10 mana, but to get Deathwing specifically while on 9 / 10 mana minion with evolve, it's 1/42 (42 10 mana minions).
I knew that 42 was the answer all along!
