I really hate to be a downer, but this card looks broken as fuck. The attack buff from the location isn't just "3" - it's his attack, so if you buff him, that gets buffed too. Similarly the number of charges changes with his health, so if you can buff or heal him you get extra charges. The location can only be used once per turn though which is something I suppose.
It sure is going to be fun playing against massive charge minions with windfury that also get his buff...or tiger plushy for that 10+ heal.
Beyond broken imo - something is definitely going to get nerfed in paladin.
> something is definitely going to get nerfed in paladin
so it's Tuesday, like every expansion launch.
Doesn't the transformation reset the use of the location, as well the attack of the minion, allowing it to attack multiple times?
I don't think it does. Knowing how locations work, if the player attacks on the turn after the first location use, it will be unable to do anything until the next turn.
The mechanics were confirmed in a tweet. The location will re-summon in an closed state so it can't be used multiple times in a turn.
As a side note, Locations in Hearthstone just look lame. It's a tiny square on a board.
At least digital Yugioh manages to turn the whole board into an actual world.
Thank God for Twisting Nether
Will it be able to attack face after transforming into a minion? Does it keep buffs?
If I'm correct, the answer is no, because I think it functions differently from Remoria because it transforms into something that cannot be buffed.
interesting card
After its first use you can just leave the location and next turn combo it with Leeroy Jenkins for a minimum of 15 damage
EDIT: So no , after checking clarifications, the location has cooldown so can only be used once in the turn, however the attack of the minion is tied to the attack given by the location so any buffs will help.
Remornia can be swung once during its alternate form because it is using hero attack limitation. this guy alternate form is location (which probably new summon every time it transform) so maybe it can keep juggling form as long as it have the health
Yet another Paladin card that punishes you for playing minions. Great design! Can’t wait for a 50 attack charge minion to attack face.
So, if the opponent has 4 1 atk minions (or a minion with 1 atk and lots of health) this kills them all and gives a minion +12 atk O_O
Omg. Considering the buff package paladin has, i guess will see lots of OTK with Southsea Deckhand buffed to oblivion and the new pirate that gives windfury
The location will only be usable once per turn. So you will have 2 minion attacks and 1 location per turn at most.
This card is so cool! I did this concept as custom cards like 3 times.
But it kinda lacks information. What I expect is that the card shares Health/Durability, like Remornia, Living Blade that is what has more sence for me, and I expect that is going to work that way, but is not really sayed in the card.
It also dosn't says if the Location reopen every time it attacks, I also imagine that it should work that way, making this kind of a 5-Mana Batterhead that also hives +3 Attack and Rush to another thing every time it attacks. But for that reason feels like too pushed, and whouldn't surprise me if you can trigger the location only once every other turn.
But I was wonder what kind of new location would be worth it to play with Scrapbooking Student, and this one looks pretty worth it.
I would imagine the location durability can exceed 8 should its health get buffed right?
I don't know what you are planning for your next article, but I like the sound of it already.
Doesn't the transformation reset the use of the location, as well the attack of the minion, allowing it to attack multiple times?
Yeah, It works like Remornia. So the more health, the higher the durability
