Seems to be an aggro card but with 7 attack... So I just give them a free BGH target and kill myself quicker? I'll just stick with milling myself out with Fel Reavers or 2 for 1ing myself with Anima Golem.
I don't play Salty Dog on Turn 5, so why should i play Salty Dog on Turn 4 with the chance to get damaged at the worst possible of time?
Because 4 is less than 5?
I don't feel like the 1 less cost overcomes the damage to the face and the lack of beneficial effect. To be honest, I don't see much use for it unless there is some new card that can turn that damage to the face into a positive. Unless you are trying to do something bizarre like make a deck full of 7+ attack to bait out big game hunters before your big minions like boom take the field?
The drawback isn't really a drawback for most aggro decks, so it really comes down to the body. 7/4 needs a little protection, so maybe it could see play in more of a tempo/zoo type of deck instead of a pure face deck since 4 health is vulnerable to a lot on turn 4.
I like how everyone assumes this card is bad because of the stat pool.
Well yeah, this card's pretty shitty, if you put it in your deck that is... Out of a Piloted Sky Golem though, you just got 13/8 across two minions for 6 mana (and NONE of the downsides!)
If it had just 1 more health it would be interesting. It just dies too easily and you are left with nothing but a +1 fireball to your own face sitting somewhere in your deck.
Maybe you can play it with Fel Reavers and go T4 this to bait out the removal and then close out the game with a T5 Fel Reaver and hope that your opponent burns the Ancient Curse card for you as they play their cards.
Useless in any situation unless it was a pilot. Or we reach a point of aggro in a few years where they can keep dropping minions like this en masse and the opponent can't keep up...
Kind of weird.
Hmmm....
It's okay I guess. But its health total is so low. Its very risky.

Not sure if 1 less cost makes Salty Dog playable or not.
Galavant Animation
Dies to Frostbolt ping, Flamecannon, Shredder, Truesilver, BGH, Abusive on a 2/X. Seems good
I feel like Stalagg and Feugen are much better alternatives for only 1 extra mana.
I hope this card isn't good. Because if it is that means the Aggro meta the only meta.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
I wonder if it can be attempted in some kind of weird handlock as shadowflame target and it's self-damage. Uncontrollable though, so very tricky.
"Infinite" doen't mean "big" - it can be small and have no end.

this card makes me think of landslide warrior Charge.
It's kind of bad.
Weird aggro tech.

A crappier Pit Lord with delayed face damage.
Nice combo with Brann Bronzebeard lol
