I'm not particularly excited for this card per se.. but excited for the omega mechanic.. there is so much to be said for a card that is useful early/mid-game.. but also powerful late.
And depending on what other omega cards we get, we could see and omega ramp druid become a thing. The lower mana cost means you could play several omega cards in one turn after a quick ramp to 10.. very interesting.
My first thought is Druid. Omega as a keyword seems to fit very well in a class that ramps. Omega Also fits very well with Splintergraft, this card in particular would be a 20/10 taunt for 10 mana.
Have to see other Omega/Ramp cards(idk if Biology project is good or not), but Omega Druid sounds like a really cool idea.
Seems like a reasonable tech option for control decks. It's decent against aggro and control.
Interestingly, I see it as a midrange card. Although its stats aren't offensive, it's sticky in the early game, and let's you play a bomb in the late game while maintaining a good curve.
Good point.. i keep thinking druid for the omega cards, but a valeera deck might work, depending on the other omega cards.. its reasonable to assume they will all be relatively low mana cost for the duel effect
This plus Spikeridged Steed. Win on the next turn if your opponent is unable to answer it (which he will do). Ramp Druid doesn't need it since there is Ancient of War already, so which class is looking for an aggressively statted 4 mana late-game taunt? Rogue?
Druid obviously comes to mind here, but it's not like they are lacking 10-mana plays. I doubt this will see play, just due to the 6 health. If an opponent can't take down a 6 health taunt minion on turn 10, then you already won. Taunt is actually a negative on this card, honestly.
One odd little deck this might fit into is Lady in White Priest. Believe it makes it a 16/6, not that at that point it matters.
Omega Defender is an interesting card, but is probably just a great showcase for what "omega cards" will do. It could be a little interesting in conjunction with Biology Project and Nourish, which can quickly ramp you to 10 mana and leave you with 4 full crystals.
This doesn't seem great? This seems to just be a big standalone card that doesn't generate any additional value once played. How many of those see play right now. And with 6 health it's easily killed, unlike the giants.

Seems ok.
The omega effect looks interesting.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

I think Druid is the obvious go to here. It feels like this card is never bad, but I wonder how much better than that it is.
I like it as a midrange card though.
