The Bandits are each 3/2 with exactly one of: Windfury, Reborn, Lifesteal, Stealth, Poisonous, Rush, Divine Shield, Taunt
Man, they just gave up when designing this. Either that or they wanted to give Paladin a bad legendary for how good it's been recently.
I've seen people comment that bandits do not fit the paladin class. I 100% agree and can only asume the design team could figure that out themselves aswell.
So what if the idea behind this is that your hand is actually jail for those bandits. When the jail is full, those other bandits escape/are free.
Expanding on the hand = jail idea... when you play those bandits from your hand, you're essentially saying 'you've done your time and are free now'.
And who knows, maybe they're back to their old ways and getting into fights straight away again (attacking other minions).
*If this actually was the idea behind it, then the naming (and art) should have reflected that though, which it does not imo*
