Ravix of Fourhorn was an alias provided to Geralt of Rivia by Queen Calanthe of Cintra when she invited him to her daughter's, Princess Pavetta's, 15th birthday celebration, under the ruse of keeping things civil. In reality, however, Calanthe wanted the witcher there to kill a supposed monster that Pavetta was secretly seeing.[1]
Notes[]
- During the Blood and Wine expansion, Geralt can use this alias during the secondary quest The Warble of a Smitten Knight. Under this alias, he'll be awarded items bearing Ravix's crest if he wins each round.
- Both the name and coat of arms of Ravix refer to the Polish coat of arms of Rawicz (or Rawa), also used by Andrzej Sapkowski.
