US majors Chubb and W. R. Berkley Corporation are the latest insurers to reveal Q2 / H1 2024 investment results. Chubb said its pre-tax net investment income for Q2 2024 was $1.47 billion, up 28.2%, and that its adjusted net investment income was $1.56 billion, up 25.9%, in its results announcement. W.R. Travelers, the perpetual first announcer for major US insurers, said its Q2 results meant a better H1 despite natural catastrophe losses. “We [are] confident in the outlook for our business," said Alan Schnitzer, Chairman and CEO.
