Hyperspace Stories 12 is the twelfth and final issue of the canon all-ages anthology comic book series Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories. The issue was written by Cecil Castellucci, illustrated by Lucas Marangon, and published by Dark Horse Comics on December 13, 2023.

The Battle of Endor as you've never seen it before! It could be the Rebel Alliance's moment of triumph, or the hour of their final destruction! The heroes of the Rebellion race to destroy the Emperor's second Death Star, but for engineer Evans Basch, it's a race just to survive! Assigned a key role in the rebel fleet, it'll take all of Basch's skill, and a dash or two of luck, to keep his ships in one piece. May the Force be with him! The action comes to an epic conclusion at the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi!

The fan-designed Mon Calamari Star Cruiser.
In the final panel of Hyperspace Stories 12, a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser is depicted which is visually identical to a fan-made design by 3D digital art director Howie Day.The fan-made design by Day is referred to as an MC42 Cruiser, and was featured in several of Day's YouTube videos, including one with a shot of the rear of the Alliance Fleet, similar to the drawing in the panel. The final version of the work the MC42 appeared in is "Star Wars Animation WIP #3 - The Return."[3]
