Endor I was one of the two stars^[3] located at the center of the Endor system in the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim Territories.^[1] The system's other star was named Endor II, and the pair was orbited by the gas giant Endor.^[3]

Endor I was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, which was released in 2015.^[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Endor system only had one sun, called Ibleam.^[4]
