"A Tale of Two Roxies" is a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode from season 2. In this episode, it's a classic case of sibling rivalry after the conjoined Roxie sisters split up.

Synopsis[]

A Tale of Two Roxies 067

Little Roxy is severed from Big Roxy.

The episode opens with a fourth wall-breaking introduction by the Roxie twins. They do everything together, from eating to playing sports, having a special spin move they use while playing volleyball. However, this leaves them unable to have private conversations with others, and bathroom breaks are difficult. When they watch a movie, Little Roxy falls asleep and Big Roxy eats all the popcorn. They get into a big argument, and when Big Roxy shuts the door behind her, it severs Little Roxy from her head. Big Roxy apologizes, but Little Roxy leaves to lead her own life.

Little Roxy makes some bracelets, but gets picked up by some other campers. She is then mistaken for a snake by Mr. Krabs and almost killed. To fix her balance, Big Roxy puts a wrench where Little Roxy was attached to her, but this makes her smack other campers and makes her food go back rather than being transferred to Little Roxy. Elsewhere, Little Roxy is mistaken for a rattle by Pearl. Krabs throws Little Roxy away to SpongeBob. SpongeBob is willing to help her out and lets her ride in one of his holes. Big Roxy sees them hanging out and is jealous of being replaced, so she attaches Patrick in Little Roxy's place. They run into each other and begin arguing again, deciding to settle who is doing better than the other now through a game of volleyball.

The volleyball match.

As the Roxies play with their new friends, they start to miss each other, realizing just how good they worked together. After each fails to do a spin attack and they crash into each other, they apologize and join up again. When they watch a movie, Big Roxy eats all the popcorn and Little Roxy falls asleep, leading to another argument. Preda comments that it is good to have them back together again.

A Tale of Two Roxies 111

Pearl's missing pupil.

  • When SpongeBob reforms after splitting apart, his model suddenly has red cheeks, like on the cover of the Kamp Koral Season 1, Volume 2 DVD.
  • When Mr. Krabs carries Pearl away, she is missing her pupil. This is because since she is facing one way for most of the scene, the other pupil was not rendered.
