Paul Edward Haggis (born March 10, 1953) is a Canadian screenwriter, movie producer, and movie director. He is best known as screenwriter and producer for the Best Picture Oscar winners: Million Dollar Baby (2004) and Crash (2005). He also directed the James Bond movies Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008).

Haggis was sued for an alleged sexual assault claim in New York City in 2013.[2]
