From Here to Eternity is a 1953 American World War II romantic drama movie. It was directed by Fred Zinnemann. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by James Jones. Actors include Frank Sinatra, Deborah Kerr, Donna Reed, Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Warden, Philip Ober, and Mickey Shaughnessy. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures. It was nominated for 13 Oscars and won 8 Academy Awards in 1954.[1]
