Tripwire in Resident Evil 4 (2023).
Tripwires are a type of sophisticated trap that involves cords tied between two nearby surfaces (i.e. trees & thin corridors) with an explosive charge set on surfaces. The explosive are detonate when the wire has been tampered with in any way, most commonly being tripped over or walked into.

Tripwires appear in Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and the Resident Evil 4 remake. Walking into one will detonate it, injuring the player in the process. The player can set off tripwires prematurely by shooting them or causing an explosion near them. Enemies also can be lured to tripwires with the right positioning as they make no effort to avoid them.
