Disney+ (pronounced "Disney Plus") is a streaming service produced by the Walt Disney Company that launched in November 12, 2019.[1] Heading for the new service are Agnes Chu, Sean Bailey, Tendo Nagendo, Sam Dickerman, and Louie Provost.[2]

It started as a domestic service, and then expanded internationally after fall 2019. The service is streaming Disney-owned original content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel Entertainment, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios (formerly 20th Century Fox), and National Geographic channels. Due to Luke Cage (among other TV-MA shows) being moved to Disney+, there are officially R-rated movies and TV-MA shows on the service.

Magic Camp, Noelle, The Sword in the Stone (2019), and Lady and the Tramp (2019) are among numerous original films that were released straight to Disney+.

On the TV side, Disney+ produces a documentary series called Ink & Paint, a High School Musical TV series, a Monsters, Inc. animated series, a Star Wars TV series called The Mandalorian, a Muppets TV series called Muppets Now, and a Marvel Studios TV series.[3]
