Great support

Great support from Nazia who stayed with the case until it was resolved. This included making sure all that was needed for our bank to arrange the feeds which it previously been unable to do. Nazia identified the problem and communicated it clearly which my bank was unable to do.

Patience personified!…

I am a self-confessed seriously elderly user of your Xero product but just could not understand all the procedures to download a particular app. Olga had wonderful patience with me and encouraged me to explore items I had not previously used or understood. She got me there so patiently, I was so grateful and am delighted to share this!

Deaf to user needs, even simple ones

The product is mostly good but to be great they need to respond to overwhelmingly popular customer needs. For instance, take Michael Hood's review on 10 June 2024. He mentions the need for increasing Unit Price to 6 decimal places. Xero reply that he should register this need on their support ideas portal. This is disingenuous because it has already been logged there by at least 75 users! But do they ever respond? No! Why so? Come on Xero you can do better than this.

EDIT: Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate you cannot implement every idea. However, given this was submitted in March 2022 and 50 comments have been made over that time in addition to the 75 support votes (including people like me that explain that their industry uses 6 decimal points in pricing - in my case the energy industry), you should give it a status. Like: "rejected/accepted" and a priority like: "high/medium/low" and then a next review date and a target implementation date. This is how to manage your users. Once your customers give up and stop talking to you, your product will become less relevant.

While we'd love to be able to work on everything at once, we have to prioritise which features we work on.

We love getting direct feedback from customers regarding Xero, however when submitting an idea it isn't guaranteed that we'll be able to implement it - LW

So far so good!

So far so good! An intuitive system (I switched from a competitor which I found harder to use) with support on hand when needed. It took some time to get multiple Monzo bank feeds up and running but go there in the end. All of this as a relative novice.

Functionality and user friendliness

Xero is much more user friendly and has greater functionality than other similar products on the marketplace. The Xero support team are very responsive and answer queries within a short timescale. Would thoroughly recommend switching to Xero.

I love using Xero and think it's a…

I love using Xero and think it's a great accounting software package. The only negative I would say is that it's very expensive and you can't convince clients that it's worth using it at such a high price.

Credits are not easy

I have used Sage for years. Our accountants suggested moving to Xero as it would make my daily accounting life easier/quicker.
There are some very good aspects in Xero software, but the main stumbling block for me is credit notes and rebates. A credit note has to be allocated to an invoice, even if an invoice does'nt exist.I process over 50 supplier credit notes a month, some with no original invoice. Had I known this, I would not have left Sage.

SUPPORT&MATCH is a Community Interest Company

No one got back to me regarding my…

No one got back to me regarding my query yet you ask for feedback?

Also finding it difficult to get a simplified breakdown of my outgoings and fixed assets for acounts.

Genuinely think i may cancel xero and go back to good old fashioned pen to paper.

Have been using xero now for 3 years…

Have been using xero now for 3 years done the trasing at milton Keynes been to xercon twice

Opinion: this software is overprice and rubbish

can not resolve a simple credit note problem without users having to turn to the xero community which proves there is no answer to the problem

it is labourious and very time consuming to use totally unlike what is portayed in their tv advertising

Yes may be if your as micro business and by that i mean a business with now more than 25 transactions a month but thats now a business but a hobby and if that small why use xero excel is cheaper and quicker for that level of transactions
With cloud charges generally on the up time to avoid xero i think

Top notch help from Xero Payroll

I had a difficult set of problems to solve when payroll migrated from one software to Xero. The Xero payroll team were quick in resolving my multiple issues and helping me along with the migration process.

Xero shows great innovation

I was taken a back with the innovation that Xero showed and I was excited for all the updates that are still to come. Xero puts an emphases on providing/delivering a service/product that simplifies the lives of both the client and the accountant.

Xero is such a fantastic tool

Xero is such a fantastic tool. Easy to use and when you aren't 100% how to complete a task there is an abundance of Articles to view and if you really are stuck, the support team are always on hand.
Responses are timely, thorough and everyone I have come in to contact with so far have always been a pleasure to deal with.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I canceled my subscription and they still charged me for an additional month even though that cancelation happened before the end of the billing cycle. No other service I have ever used has had the nerve to try and charge for another month after I have canceled. Really shady business practice.

Nabeel in Customer Support was amazing

I'm new to Xero (previous Quickbooks user) and was having issues matching my payroll transaction to the automatically created bill. Nabeel was incredibly kind and helpful and I understand the process so much better now. 10/10 support from Nabeel!
