• Schmarrnintelligenz I don't believe you can request for a username change for anyone other than yourself. If it needs to be globally hidden, please use m:SRG and use the {{LockHide|username|hidename=1}} template, though personally I'm not sure that qualifies. WMF staffers cannot violate established policy because a name is offensive, Schmarrnintelligenz and further there is no reason that name should be changed, much less to another name which presumably was chosen to make fun of them. Praxidicae (talk) 19:42, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Considering it hasn't edited, there's a decent possibility an editor or user created it to prevent vandals from doing so. Regardless, unless the account edits, there really isn't anything to do, and if they do start editing the result will be a lock and hide, not a rename. Vermont (talk) 19:48, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Please be sure that I did not and do not intend to make fun of anybody in the light of that terrible attack. I had expected there was an established way to rename impersonators' abusive name usurpations, that any user with more experience than me would have automatically applied. I am just looking for a working solution and am really baffled how this seems to be seen as unwelcome. BTW I am not a native English speaker! @PaulValentineGmbH: Usernames that are simply names of companies or groups are not permitted in some projects.
