マーケットストアー

I think that choosed uername is not acceptable, because it can cause confusion (e.g. promotional username). Rafael (stanglavine) msg 16:19, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

FamilySing01

Not done @FamilySing01: Please follow instructions on your English wiki talk page. Once you address the issue regarding your block they can rename you there. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 03:15, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
Ok, here’s the main reason I was blocked in a nutshell. Three years ago, just when I was getting started, I just rushed into things by creating a page regarding a business that I own, which appeared to deal with a topic in which I have a conflict of interest. Then I created another page, a book I’ve written, and both pages violated Wikipedian policy, and I got blocked indefinitely. When I tried to appeal my block recently, I tried to apologise, I tried to write it it as clear as possible, I tried to point out my mistakes, I repeatedly told them that I would not edit within the area of my interest conflict, I pleaded they unblock me on my life, but nobody took me seriously, and now I lost access to my talk page because of my “silly claims” when trying to atone for my flaws, denying that I have a conflict of interest, and being reluctant to address different subject areas I could edit within.--FamilySing01 (talk) 05:42, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

VladXe

@Stanglavine: Comparing with user requesting, I think 15 edits isn't big deal, also target last edited in 2006, so there's very little chance they'll be back. So requesting you to re-evaluate the request. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 16:27, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
@1997kB: Certainly VladXe has a lot more edits, but there was already a user who, before him, opted to have the credit of his participation in the projects assigned to the "VladX" username. This right is his, considering our content license, to be credited with this username, unless he states otherwise (when a rename request, for example). This is the foundation, I think, for not usurp accounts with valid edits, no matter how many. Rafael (stanglavine) msg 16:57, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
@Stanglavine: Well it's up-to you to accept or reject this request as you are handling it, but I have seen request got accepted in such conditions and that's why I commented. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 15:12, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

Not done Wnome: Your account isn't established enough for usurpation request, please choose a username which isn't already registered. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 15:27, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, how long would I have to wait? I do not mind having to wait, I'll do the edits with this one. The old account was probably created by me many years ago but I lost the password. --Wnome (talk) 16:44, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
Wnome: If you can access that account and confirm, we can do this rename now. Otherwise please wait for atleast 5-6 months. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 17:00, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

New visitor

@New visitor: (Note I'm not a steward or global renamer) Accounts on Wikimedia wikis use global accounts, which means the same username is reserved across all Wikimedia wikis. This is why usurption has to occur here; it's a global process, so it doesn't just apply to one wiki. In this case, it appears the target user has 2 edits, but they've since been deleted, so you should be able to get the account after the required one month notification period. Retro (talk) 10:48, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
@Retro:Oh, thanks. It's my bad English reading skill. I mistook it for account merge case.--New visitor (talk) 12:20, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
