Have you tried logging into your account on another wiki (the fact that you were able to post this message shows that you're able to successfully log in elsewhere) and visiting https://en.wikivoyage.org? If you are logged into your global account and then visit a wiki where your local account does not exist yet, the SUL system should automatically create that account for you the second you visit the wiki. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 02:55, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

Sorry for asking on the wrong place. Yes, yesterday I had tried logging in on Wikiwoyage while logged on Wikipedia a few times, to no avail. Today it worked.
