I want to usurp this account:

--Blues (talk) 22:03, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

I asked local crat Meursault2004 at jv:Dhiskusi_Panganggo:Meursault2004#Crat_request_on_id.wikibooks to look at this. MBisanz talk 23:30, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks :) I think it would be nice to put that link here: Index_of_pages_where_renaming_can_be_requested --Blues (talk) 20:51, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
It's actually just his talk page on another wiki where I noticed he was active, so it's not really official. MBisanz talk 21:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

I want to usurp these following accounts:

--Lukep913 (talk) 21:17, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for not being clear. He needs the SUL deleted so he can request rename at Commons and then at en.wiki. Because this started as an en.wiki request, I'll stand aside for now. MBisanz talk 21:20, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Done as this user had only 2 edits globally and did not use his account last year. However, I think it would be wisely to email this new user before asking usurpation on enwiki. Regards, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 21:29, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
I've notified the user on the enwiki account. He has not replied yet. He also does not have an e-mail set. Lukep913 (talk) 22:11, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

I want to usurp this account:

It's seems that it has no activity. --Scann (talk) 22:39, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Not done I guess you meant "Commons" and not id.wikibooks, but commonswiki has it's own bureaucrats. Please request it on COM:USURP. For your information, your account is also not unified on en.wikipedia and et.wikipedia (list of 'crats). Those two projects have both their own 'crats as well. For enwiki you need to go to WP:USURP; for etwiki you should contact the 'crats yourself. Good luck and if you need some help with it, feel free to contact me. I want to usurp this account:

I have requested all the three bureaucrats of sq wiki on their talk pages .. but there is no reply..--Shanmugamp7 (talk) 16:11, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Done As local crats are indeed inactive and it is clearly uncontroversial. MBisanz talk 23:07, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

I want to usurp the following account

I have requested some bureaucrats to unify the login but received no answer! :( I hope this is the good way to solve it.--Aethelfirth (talk) 22:28, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

I don't see a request on en.wiki, but I can see you need the rename and went ahead and did it as a local crat. MBisanz talk 23:05, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

I done usurpations on wikis without active local bureaucrats. On all other wikis you will need to ask local bureaucrats. (See list of pages here.) Ruslik (talk) 07:00, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Done for hi.wikibooks, not done for mr.wp as that project has active crats. MBisanz talk 16:58, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

I want to usurp the following account

I have made the request, which should meet requirements. The user has only made 4 edits total, and none since 2006. The user has not replied to my usurpation request in over 10 days, and the three most active admins/bureaucrats (SpeedyGonsales, Roberta_F, and Dtom) on the page have not replied to my messages (despite still being active on hrwiki).

Also, I am having issues usurping on Wiki Commons, and although I respect both of the bureaucrats I've been interacting with, I feel their expectations are both irrational and counter to Wiki's principles. Admittedly, when I started the usurpation process on enwiki, I was very confused because the documentation pages are horribly lacking in terms of explaining the wiki-by-wiki usurpation process. However, as I hope you can see from the Commons usurpation request and concurrent discussions with the most active usurpation bureaucrat followed by another I asked for a second opinion on IRC, I feel like I'm being forced to pick a fight over a user account on a wiki I have no interest in, even though I only want the Commons account and I'm the only person who has ever expressed interest in it. Is there somewhere I can take this to? --Visionholder (talk) 06:15, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I guess I should be clear: The user account that I'm not even wanting to usurp is not the hrwiki account above—it's on plwiki, which aside from Commons is the only other account I don't control. Please let me know if there are any hang-ups with the hrwiki usurpation. No one's answering any of my posts anywhere, so I'm kind of confused about what's taking so long. Maky (talk) 00:53, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
pl.wiki has local crats, see here, so you would need to ask them to do the rename. MBisanz talk 22:54, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I know that. I came here to close out hrwiki, though. That's the one I'm not getting any replies for. I haven't even put in a request at plwiki for the reasons given in the links above. Can you help with hrwiki, or not? Maky (talk) 00:45, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

┌─────────┘
I finally managed to get a reply after nearly three weeks on hrwiki, so this request is no longer needed. However, I would appreciate a suggestion on where to take my case over the Commons usurpation issues. Again, this is ridiculous because it's quite obvious neither I nor the plwiki user control the Commons account, yet I am a very significant contributor and he is not. They are already "preventing him from contributing on Commons with his username" because no one can usurp the account. This truly makes no sense. Worse, the decision is very disruptive because I'm constantly working in multiple tabs, and uploading or editing on Commons requires me to log out and log back in, which screws up my other tabs/windows. If this is going to stand for the next 5 months while I wait for a solid usurpation request on plwiki (or longer if he makes a few more edits), then I'll stop helping on Commons and upload all my new content to enwiki and let the bots transfer it over. Maky (talk) 17:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

User resolved it on their own. MBisanz talk 13:58, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Delete local accounts

--Luki9805 (talk) 16:19, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Not done All projects mentioned in this requests have local bureaucrats. Please ask them. You could use this page to search for the request pages. Trijnsteltalk 17:38, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
And by the way, accounts cannot be deleted, they can be renamed but will still exist. Bencmq (talk) 20:42, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Torque

Status:    Done

I want to usurp the following account

82.106.80.118 18:07, 21 March 2012 (UTC) ( I'm Torque in italian wikipedia )

Hmm. A SUL account exists for Torque with trwiki as its home project (199 edits in total). So I'm not sure if we can usurp these accounts for you (any thoughts of other stewards?). And btw, only tr.wikiquote doesn't have local 'crats. The other four have all active 'crats. And last but not least, could you confirm on it-wiki that you're Torque? Trijnsteltalk 18:26, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, i'm the it.wiki original Torque and i would to create an global account but i didn't manage to do cause it was already created by the tr.wiki user. I can see that the last "page edit" that this user did was in 2010... am I wrong?
I spoke with a it.wiki 'crat (see here) and he told me to view this page to solve my problem. How can i proceed to come to an end? –82.106.80.118 11:45, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
My opinion is that conflicts should be resolved first in favor of a user with userrights, then in favor of the user with the most edits, then in favor of the oldest account. In this case, the it.wiki user has the most edits, so I think they should "win" the SUL. The en.wiki user is the oldest, but not as active as tr.wiki or it.wiki. MBisanz talk 13:51, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Actually Rupertsciamenna had never been a 'crat. Anyway we cannot usurp accounts on wiki with local bureaucrats. So we can theoretically only usurp Torque@tr.wikiquote but it's quite pointless without usurping the other ones.
--Vituzzu (talk) 19:52, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
Well...we could also delete the SUL and let the it.wiki user acquire it by virtue of having more edits. MBisanz talk 23:22, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
Afaik Special:Mergeaccount will work only for the eldest account. --Vituzzu (talk) 10:06, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
@Vito I think userrights and edit count takes priority... Bencmq (talk) 14:04, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
So... what can I do? –2.157.223.102 12:26, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm willing to delete the SUL as long as no other stewards object. MBisanz talk 14:01, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
But has not yet been decided what to do –82.106.80.118 14:24, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
I've gone ahead and deleted the SUL, so you should be able to unify. MBisanz talk 22:07, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
...with it:Special:MergeAccount. Trijnsteltalk 22:08, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

AArizaga

Status:    Done

Hello. AArizaga is my user account, but it does not work in Wikimedia Commons. I think it was automatically created but I have no access and I do not know why. It seems to exist two wiki-accounts with the same name not unified. Is it possible to merge them or whatever? Thanks. --AArizaga (talk) 18:18, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

You'd need to contact the local bureaucrats. Stewards would only act where there is no active local bureaucrats. fr33kman 18:22, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
@AArizaga: you may request a usurpation/renaming on commons:Commons:Changing username/Usurp requests. I guess this is again bug 29234. Trijnsteltalk 18:32, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
workaround done by EugeneZelenko (renamed the defunct account and moved the temp account). Still this can't be the solution! a×pdeHello! 11:21, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks to everyone. Now AArizaga is working in Commons as needed. Is it possible (or convenient) to delete AArizagaC? Thanks again.--AArizaga (talk) 21:54, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

No, I'm sorry. It's not. Trijnsteltalk 21:57, 29 March 2012 (UTC) Thanks anyway. Hope it will we possible to clean that bug 29234. Good luck with it! --AArizaga (talk) 22:03, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
