I ask you the following accounts to merge with de:user:Martin1978

These 3 2 Accounts above are inactive (en: 3 edits in 2006, since then inactive; ar: no edits). I need this account, especially on en, because i want to be beta tester for the tool Huggle 3. Therefore i need the same accountnames in en.wp and de.wp. I refuse to use sock puppets. Thanks, --Martin1978 13:31, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

You should ask local bureaucrats to do usurpation. Ruslik 14:14, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Sawol

Status:    Done

To complete usurp request at ko.wiki, please delete global account. As soon as w:ko:User:Sawol(formerly 'Jonsoh') request changing username in ko.wikipedia, Sawol is created by an obstructor. Sawol reated by an obstructor is renamed to 'Sawol (휴면)', and 'Jonsoh' is renamed to 'Sawol'. However, he can't create SUL, because 'Sawol' created by an obstructor made SUL. Sawol renamed from 'Jonsoh' want to SUL. Please delete global account. If you want to get in contact with Sawol, you can do in w:ko:User talk:Sawol. Thanks. -- Min's 12:11, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Done. Please complete the global account by following the instructions on ko:특수기능:계정합치기. Trijnstel 20:12, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

This is possibly more of a question than an active request to do something, so perhaps I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I'm afraid I've found the guidelines slightly perplexing. I don't have a unified account as there are CBHs one two of the other wikis; I haven't asked the bureaucrats there because I have no idea if they speak English, and I don't speak enough of the respective languages to really find my may around.

I'd quite like a unified account which I believe is probably a good idea, but given that I haven't been extremely active for a while it might be seen as terribly bad form to try to usurp someone else's account; I don't mind having my own account renamed (e.g. to something resembling my real name, though I'm not sure whether or not that's a good idea having encountered the occasional quite strange person on here) but I understand that might not even be possible without a prohibitive amount of effort.

So, er, I'm wondering what to do next. --Cbh 18:44, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

You do have a unified account, except for hewiki and dewiki. Their bureaucrats speak English quite well. Ruslik 18:59, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Should I go ahead and ask them, do you think? I'm still concerned that it might be a bit rude. --Cbh 19:05, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
It is perfectly normal to ask them in English. Ruslik 13:31, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Before I do so, can I ask if these two accounts are otherwise likely to cause any problems for my unified ID? If they can coexist alongside my global ID without any issues cropping up, I'm inclined to just leave them be, since I don't intend to edit the sites in question. I guess I feel like I need some guidance as to what's the best way forward. Thanks! --Cbh 17:02, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
They will cause no problem. Ruslik 18:08, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh, in that case I'll leave them alone. I don't want to cause anybody any unnecessary disruption (well, beyond what I've managed here!) I guess my request can be closed now. Thanks! :) --Christine 20:11, 20 January 2012 (UTC) (er, as in cbh, that is.)

I want to usurp the following accounts

Could you help me complete unifying my account? As far as I can see, only the Slovakian account has made some edits (2006) and there are no bureaucrats involved. Thank you --Quibus 13:30, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

All those projects have active crats, please request locally (see Index of pages where renaming can be requested)! a×pdeHello! 21:37, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I understand. Dutch Wiki is no problem, can I contact the other ones in English? --Quibus 10:38, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
PS When logging in at Wikipedia through the secure server (https://) unified login doesn't seem to work for every project. Wiktionary for example won't log me in automatically, unless I login through the standard server. Is this normal?

I want to usurp the following account:

I have problems with the meta.wikimedia-login (may be caused by an old user password from about 2006, in conjunction with a no more existent registering email address).
It would be great, if this special login could be added to my SUL-login list ... SUL-info for User:Jaybear
Thanks in advance.
217.92.174.176 11:15, 26 January 2012 (UTC) (my home-base user is: de:User:Jaybear)
Hint:
All public logs (for User:Jaybear) results only this line:

  • 10:11, 3 January 2012 Jaybear (talk | contribs) Account created automatically

This didnt look like an "... old user password from about 2006 ..."-issue ?!
So may be its only a login problem on meta.wikimedia.org ?
But at all other existing :<lang.-code>.wikipedia.org sites I'm logged in automatically as my User:Jaybear!
217.92.174.176 11:32, 26 January 2012 (UTC) (de:User:Jaybear)

What error do you get when you try to log in manually? Special:UserLogin --Bencmq 11:59, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your quick answer!
My gotten error message: (trying to login as "Jaybear")
Login error
Incorrect password entered. Please try again.
As you can see I've created the temporary new user: (... as suggested here)

One more question:
Should I now continue with "... make a request at Meta:Changing username..."?
(as you wrote on my home-user-discussion page)
Or do you have enough input now to continue on your part, leaving me deeply indepted with your RAA (rapid admin assistence ;-)?
Jaybear-two 16:44, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
This happens sometimes—a malformed account was created automatically. It happened with me on one wiki. You should ask at Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat for your malformed meta account to be renamed to sm-ng else. Then you will be able to re-create it by logging-in on meta. Ruslik 17:01, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Done. I renamed User:Jaybear to User:Jaybear (Usurp). Now attach User:Jaybear by logging in from de:User:Jaybear and create an account in Meta automatically using de:Special:MergeAccount as soon as possible. Then login to Meta using the same password you use to login to your de:User:Jaybear account. — Tanvir | Talk ] 16:18, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
I've lost my login about 10 min. ago.
After new login and only visiting de:Special:MergeAccount I could see my new Jaybear-meta.wikimedia.org account link listed there. Following the link I was automatically logged in as "Jaybear" on meta.WM.org too!
Thanks for your assistance! -- I think, the Status is Ok/Done for this SUL-issue now.
