There is no account called "Ace of Spades" at trwikiquote. Are you sure you have provided accurate information? If you are logged in on your home wiki and are allowing cookies, you should be automatically logged in on that wiki when you visit it.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 18:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

SUL rename Maksatmp to Maksa

If it is still not possible, please rename Maksatmp in all wikis without local bureaucrats (and usurp it here in meta). I have created SUL Maksatmp (with home ru-wiki) some months ago hoping to rename it afterwards, so it could be nice to move Maksatmp to Maksa in all Wikimedia projects (except for en, fi, fr and hu where I should ask to usurp existing names). I have already requested the new name at the English Wikipedia because en:Maksa was not free. However, I have some edits at Swedish, Italian and some other projects and want to keep my contribution. Accounts can be renamed, but not deleted. In both cases, there are local bureaucrats to perform these functions, so we are unable to do so. Please visit en:wp:chu and sv:Wikipedia:Byte av användarnamn to request renames on those projects. Kylu 14:46, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi, as to the English account you'll have to request that at w:en:Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations. On Meta there is also a user called User:Triton. If it's yours you should be able to login. If not, you can request usurpation at Meta:Changing username. --Erwin 10:09, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Unbind global account Templatehater

But I am an administrator in Bengali wikipedia with this bn:user:joy. So please delete only my bn:user:jayantanth account from Bengali Wikipedia, Then I request to local bureaucrat rename my account bn:user:joy to bn:user:jayantanth. Or suggest what to do. We can't delete accounts, only rename them from one name to another, so the solution would be:
  1. The bureaucrat at bn.wiki can just rename bn:user:Jayantanth to something else (for example "Jayantanth (old)") and then bn:user:joy to bn:user:Jayantanth.
  2. Then You go to bn:special:mergeaccount (make sure to log out before going to bn.wiki and then log in to the accountname "Jayantanth") and merge "Jayantanth" to the global account "Jayantanth"

Ok, then You need to ask for renames for the local accounts of "Максим Коршунов" which have edits (if You wish that; see this page to find out where You made edits) and then log out and log in with "Maximiljan" on ru.wiki and go to w:ru:special:mergeaccount to merge the local accounts and to make it a global account too. (That is very cool, and thank you for making that possible. It is a big time saver.)
At present I am having trouble merging the account at Romanian ro:WP. When you look into the matter over there, you are given a list of a dozen or so English-speaking admins.
I appealed to two of them, but that was some weeks back, and so far, nothing.
Is there another procedure to try next?

Hello, I guess You did not create the account, but since it has 0 edits You might ask for usurp on ro.wiki, see the (interwiki)link on the left hand side to the requestpage. ro.wiki admins can't help You with this matter, only ro.wiki bureaucrats. Myasuda

This is probably the wrong forum for this request, but I was hoping to at least receive direction on where to take it. In the course of my login unification, I appear to have picked up several accounts that do not belong to me (at least, I never opened actively opened them on these sites): namely, Myasuda on ja.wikipedia.org, meta.wikimedia.org, ru.wikipedia.org, and zh.wikipedia.org. How do I remove these accounts from the unification? Also, the unification process has stated that it could not unify the Myasuda accounts at en.wikibooks.org and www.mediawiki.org which is correct, as these accounts do not belong to me. Can I simply stop the unification process at this point, having already unified the three accounts belonging to me? — Myasuda 01:35, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

If you passively visit a site (simply reading a page while logged in to a different site works), it will create an account on that site for you automatically. This is what happened with meta, ja, ru, and zh wikipedias.
The accounts on enwikibooks and mediawikiwiki both have zero contributions, so there shouldn't be any problem with your requesting these accounts be renamed:
The account on MediaWiki.org has been renamed for you by a local bureaucrat, VasilievVV.
The account on en.wikibooks.org was renamed similarly by a local bureaucrat, Mike_lifeguard.

SUL delete "Ashtray.jp"

I want to delete Ashtray.jp SUL (unmerge).
When I requested usurpation account "Ashtray" for SUL in pt-wiki, I created a temporary account "Ashtray.jp"[1].
At this time, I created a new Ashtray.jp-SUL [2] by mistake! And accounts was automatically created on login in jawiki, metawiki and ruwiki.

Why is my request refused? I know that the user-account cannot be delete, however SUL can be deleted.

Hello, sul-deletion is not for fun, it is only for problem solving which can't be solved otherwise, creating a new account means to accept that it is a global account, if You don't want this, don't create an account, there are no new non sul-accounts, stewards usually don't work against the work the devs put in this. --geimfyglið :^╡ 08:50, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

We have no way of force-merging that account for you, unfortunately. Considering that the en.wikipedia account has zero edits, it is perhaps easier for you to request that a local bureaucrat rename the account away (usurpation) and simply migrate your new global account to en.wikipedia from there. When visiting new projects, such as this one, please make sure you're logged in. Just type your username and password as if you already had an account on that project. Go to special:mergeaccount next, start combining. It's a very common username, though, so you'll have a few on other projects that don't end up under your control. If you want to edit on those projects, you'll want the other Cherries renamed: See Index of pages where renaming can be requested (They can't be requested here for projects with local bureaucrats, sorry.). I made the request on the appropriate page a couple of weeks ago but no answer. Today I checked and the two bureaucrats who seem to be responsible are not available, according to their Userpages—one is having health problems and the other is taking a "Wikivacation" till March. Do I have to wait till then?
